Will Forte And January Jones, ‘Last Man On Earth’ Co-Stars, Break Up After Five Months

Will Forte and January Jones, co-stars of the Fox comedy The Last Man on Earth, have called it quits on their five-month relationship, Us Magazine is reporting.

The couple hasn’t spoken publicly about their split, but an anonymous source confirms that Will Forte, 45, was looking for a commitment, while Jones, 37, wasn’t into it. The source reported that Jones said “relationships are a pain in the a**.” Forte and Jones actually split last month, but the source only reported it this week. Both Forte and Jones were at the Emmy Awards over the weekend, which could have made for some awkward moments. Fortunately for the two co-stars, their separate commitments kept them apart for the festivities. January Jones stuck with her fellow cast-mates from Mad Men. Forte, who was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award (he lost to Jeffrey Tambor from Transparent), stuck with the cast of Last Man on Earth. Forte did, however, bring a “date” to the Emmys: his mom, Patricia Forte.

In fact, Will Forte is particularly close with his family, according to a 2010 Diablo Magazine interview. He officiated his sister’s wedding, and later, filmed her giving birth. Will’s mother, Patricia, has been on every TV and film set he’s ever worked on.

As far as dating, however, Will hasn’t made much of a splash in the Hollywood press. In fact, his relationship with January Jones was his first high-profile celebrity romance. In remarks via this Inquisitr report, Forte joked about his lack of dating history with Hollywood starlets.

“I’m kind of under the radar. Not a lot of people notice me. Which is surprising, because I’m so sexy. They’re probably intimidated by my sexiness and crushability.”

By comparison, Will’s ex, January Jones, has a string of high-profile romances with Hollywood leading men in her wake. She’s been linked to Noah Miller, Jason Sudeikis, Ashton Kutcher, and Josh Groban. She also has a 4-year-old son, Xander, and she keeps the identity of his father private.

Will Forte returns to TV screens when The Last Man on Earth comes back for its second season, on September 27.
