‘Arrow’ Season 4: New Set Photos Reveal A Very Dangerous Damien Darhk, Plus Will Constantine Be A Series Regular?

The upcoming season of Arrow is expected to bring a lot of changes as the series enters its fourth season. Along with Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) return to Starling City, new photos from the set reveal that the supernatural will play a larger part as the series moves forward.

According to Bustle, this uptake in the supernatural will have an impact on the main villain this season, Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough). In particular, Darhk appears to be powerful when it comes to his magical skills, which will definitely make him a more dangerous opponent to face down.

In the photos, Darhk looks extra scary as he deals with some of his own men. Based on the images, Oliver is going to need all the help he can get in order to deal with an impressive bad guy like Darhk.

Speaking of extra help, the new season is also set to introduce a crossover character with Constantine (Matt Ryan). According to Fashion & Style, Marc Guggenheim recently stated that Ryan’s appearance on the show is something that went very well, as the actor displayed a “natural on-screen vibe” with co-star Amell.

“When you see him in the show, honestly it feels as if we are doing a Constantine/Arrow crossover… We’re just really glad that we got the chance to extend Matt Ryan’s run as Constantine by at least one more hour of television.”

Guggenheim isn’t the only one excited about Ryan’s appearance on the show, as most fans are happy to see the character one last time.

While it is believed that Ryan’s cameo on Arrow is a one-shot sort of gig, there is a strong possibility that his character could be included in a future season of Arrow. If Ryan’s cameo is well received by fans, there is also a situation where he may even be promoted to a series regular if the show continues on.

Even if that doesn’t turn out to be the case, fans might have the chance to see Constantine in Legends of Tomorrow, especially since there is a strong reaction to his part in Arrow.

In the meantime, whatever ends up happening with Ryan’s character, fans are sure to be excited to see Constantine once again return to television this fall.

Season 4 of Arrow is scheduled to premiere October 7, 2015, on The CW.
