Playboy Party Schools 2015: From Bongs To Thongs, Top 10 Party Schools List Gets Cheers From Students [Video]

Playboy has rolled out its party schools for 2015. And from who’s got the hottest music and spring breaks to features such as Bong Hill where pot flows freely, the magazine’s eagerly awaited annual listing once again reveals the top party schools of the year, reported UPI.

Top on the list is Ohio University. More than 23,000 students are cheering that their school toppled University of Pennsylvania. Previously highly ranked on the Playboy list of party schools, it didn’t even show up in the top 10 this year, which may be getting sedate applause from the U of Penn administration.

What’s so special about Ohio University? Credit goes to the party-hearty yearly block party on Halloween and #Fest music festival that give students something to anticipate 12 months a year. And then, since Ohio decriminalized marijuana use throughout the state, partying with pot on Bong Hill has become a popular pursuit, according to Playboy.

Other party schools ranking in the top 10 for 2015 included University of Iowa in second place due to the bars and Florida State University owning third place thanks to those wacky and wild spring breaks.

Playboy ranked the other party schools of 2015 as Tulane University, University of Illinois, University of Texas, Syracuse University, University of Wisconsin, University of Mississippi and University of Michigan.

The magazine list’s contrasted with the Princeton Review unveiling of its top party schools. Ohio University didn’t even show up there. Instead, Princeton viewed the top party schools as University of Illinois as the hottest spot in the nation, and then listed University of Iowa, University of Wisconsin, Bucknell University and Syracuse University.

For students, it’s a reason to chug the beer, while administration officials write up new lists of rules after finding out their university ranked in Playboy‘s top party schools of 2015, reported Syracuse.com.

While some graduates and students take pride in the fact that Playboy put Syracuse University in seventh place for its party schools 2015 rankings, compared to 10th place in 2014, the administration has not been happy.

SU Chancellor Kent Syverud reflected on how he felt the school should respond to the inclusion of his university on the top party schools list.

“[It’s a] wake up call [for more] boundaries,” ordered the Chancellor.

However, although he attempted to restrict partying in the student housing region, music festivities and partiesin other areas kept the university’s partying pride high.

The complete Playboy top party schools 2015 list follows:
