‘RHONJ’ Star Teresa Giudice Is ‘Stronger,’ ‘More Focused,’ Claims Attorney

RHONJ star Teresa Giudice will reportedly emerge from prison later this year as a “whole new” woman. During an interview with E! News on September 10, Giudice’s attorney James J. Leonard, Jr. revealed that the RHONJ star is “stronger” and “more focused” now that she’s more than halfway through her prison term.

“She’s in absolute tip-top shape. She’s rock-hard mentally, physically and emotionally. When she comes home people are going to be very surprised. It’s a whole new Teresa coming home.”

The RHONJ star began serving her 15-month prison term in January, but is expected to be released at the end of December, which means she has just over three months left.

“She’s getting back in touch with her faith. She’s spending a lot of time praying in there, and I think the Teresa that comes out of prison is going to wow people.”

According to the RHONJ star’s attorney, she has clear plans for her post-prison life, which include “being with her children, being with her family [and] being with Joe.” In addition, the RHONJ star could get back into television. While there have been many reports claiming Giudice will be rejoining the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey once she’s freed from the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, Leonard didn’t confirm any such news. Instead, he simply said the RHONJ star had “so many opportunities” being offered to her.

“There are so many opportunities that she has… I think she’s going to take it one day at a time, but her focus is, ‘I want to get back to my freedom, I want to get back to my husband, I want to get back to my parents, my children, and then kind of take it as it goes.’ But I expect that you’ll be seeing her shortly after she comes home.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the RHONJ star was said to have been confirmed for the upcoming seventh season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, along with Melissa Gorga, Jacqueline Laurita, Kathy Wakile and Rosie Pierri. Earlier this month, Entertainment Tonight revealed the news, claiming the women’s co-stars, including Nicole Napolitano, Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea, and Dina Manzo, were not expected to appear on the series’ upcoming installment. The site also claimed Geraldo Rivera’s wife had been offered a role on the show, but had ultimately turned the offer down.
