‘Married to Medicine’ Star Talks Fake Friendships After Mariah Huq’s Return

Married To Medicine is back, and the show is about to take a dramatic turn. Many of the previous Married To Medicine stars had returned, but Mariah Huq decided to return to the show after being absent for about 10 episodes. Mariah may have tried to get back on the show, but she was dealing with issues in her personal life that had nothing to do with Married To Medicine. Huq and her husband suffered a miscarriage, and she stayed in the hospital for a week to deal with her issues.

But now that she is back on Married To Medicine, some of her former co-stars are under fire for not being good friends to her. Mariah had hoped that the ladies would have reached out when she was in the hospital. She was four months along with twins when she miscarried. This wasn’t featured on Married To Medicine.

According to a new Bravo report, Married To Medicine star Toya Bush-Harris is now revealing that she was shocked at how Mariah identified friendships, and she has no problem explaining why she distanced herself from Huq.

“Honestly, I will always be honest with my friends, even if it hurts us both. Being fake and phony takes too much energy. One should never tell someone something false in an attempt to “spare feelings.” The temporary gratification felt when you lie will sting more when the truth eventually comes out…and it always does,” Toya Bush-Harris explained in her Married To Medicine blog.

“I would not expect anyone who would not call me to wish me well on Monday to call me for a hug on Wednesday just because Tuesday was rough. Mariah, just because I did not reach out to you in the time frame in which you preferred doesn’t make my empathy for your less null and void. I think it would be worse for me to reach out in a fake way. I don’t remember flowers from the Huqs when my father-in-law passed, so…you get the message,” she pointed out about her Married To Medicine co-star.

But Toya explains that she does keep her friends close. And she does want to protect those who have been done wrong. She ends her lengthy blog with a simple conclusive statement about friendships.

“I will never let my friends compromise themselves or put themselves in bad spaces if I can help it. For example: Lisa. Yes, I will escort you away from the drama. I will never leave you to argue with another friend over something so minor in the grand scheme of things,” she pointed out.

Of course, Lisa Nicole Cloud has been dealing with rumors of gay affairs involving her husband. The women have been split in terms of support and judgment.
