Katy Perry took the stage on American Idol last night (5/13/09) singing ‘Waking up in Vegas‘ live.
Katy Perry shows support for Adam Lambert
Katy got all Elvis’d up for fans last night on American Idol, wearing a hot Elvis inspired high-collared bodysuit and silk cape covered in shimmery rhinestones for her live performance of Waking up in Vegas. She also showed her support for who she wants to win this years competition – the cape she was wearing had Adam Lambert‘s name embroidered on it.

I enjoyed Katy's performance, but I was surprised that the show allowed her to promote Adam with the cape embroidered with his name. Don't get me wrong, I want Adam to win too, but I'm sure the othersfelt it to be unfair.

I love Adam…i have his picture up on my wall….he is so amazing…but yeah, i also love Katy Perry, and the fact that she is voting for adam, is completely her choice, she has rights….so i say, WOOHOO, GO ADAM FOR AMERICAN IDOL

Katy's performance was gawd awful last night. Her costume was cheesy and she looked like Elvis wearing a diaper. I'd be embarrassed to be Adam to have her as a fan. Her song was cheesy and karaokish. She belongs in a Ramada Inn lounge, not in the spotlight of American Idol. Was she the best the producers could do for this show? They should fire the producer that booked her. Katy Perry looked like an idiot last night.

What the heck was that?? Katy was horrible… How could that outfit be “cute”?? Adam should have left, he is not that great of a singer, why would you want someone like him representing American Idol…..I think the finalist should have been Danny and Kris, Danny should have won…. He had the best vocals next to Kris… Why would American Idol let Katy Perry advertised Adam Lambert, totally unfair…. Boo

Oh my god. This is just a responce to “office” , seriously ? How bout you stop hating on katy perry and being a homo over Adam. If you really dont like him just because of his sexuality, thats just dumb. Yeah i know your entitled to your own opinions and what not, but seriously ? He's an awesome singer, and deserves to be up there. He probably has way more courage in one pinky than you do in your whole body. Really ? Get over yourself. There's gays / bi's everywhere in this world. Just because of they're sexuality, doesnt make them the worst person on earth. For all YOU know, they could be gay or bi and be the best person on this earth. So quit your complaining and get over the fact that adam is a great singer and gay and proud of it. in one of his interviews, he said one of his friends knew Katy perry and that he had met her a few times. it's fine showing your support for someone you know. plus, its hollywood, and thats how people there support eachother. Go Adam!! you are amazing and I love your voice! So talented! Keep rockin it!
