Amanda Peet, Husband Joking About Divorce? How ‘Game Of Thrones’ Fate For Jon Snow Impacts Their Marriage [Video]

Amanda Peet shared some interesting details about her husband recently regarding his influence on the popular TV series Game Of Thrones. David Benioff, Amanda’s true love, just happens to be the showrunner, and Peet is such a fervent fan that she’s still annoyed with her husband for the latest unexpected plot twist, reported Entertainment Weekly.

When Game of Thrones seemed to kill off Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington, Amanda was appalled. Peet shared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that her husband is now in trouble at home as a result.

“I am in the process of getting divorced,” joked Amanda.

Peet also admitted that she had become obsessed with Harington’s locks. She asked her husband to get photos to check on whether it looked as if the actor still was playing Jon Snow.

But just how possessive is Benioff of the Game Of Thrones plot? Amanda shared that David won’t let her see his computer when he’s viewing dailies. But Peet had an explanation for her husband’s behavior.

“It’s a little bit like being married to someone in the CIA or something, except for not as important,” theorized Amanda.

But is Jon Snow really dead, thus giving hope to Peet over whether to keep her husband on the naughty list? One of the cast of Game Of Thrones, Emilia Clarke, says she feels there’s still hope, reported E News.

“I don’t know,” said Clarke about the truth. “If I had to bet, I would say, like, it’s a 50/50 chance. I mean, there’s some helpful people there who could bring him on back to life.”

And in contrast to Amanda’s husband, who is secretive, Clarke confessed that she has the opposite problem.

“They know that I can’t lie very well,” she admitted. “I can, with all honesty, say that I have no idea what’s happening. I have no idea what’s gonna happen.”

But she feels that most fans don’t really want to know. And while Peet has her husband, Clarke has her brother to bug about Game Of Thrones.

“With my brother, I’ll be saying stuff and talking about stuff, and he’s like, ‘I watch, stop telling me!'” she said. “So more often than not, they get annoyed. They don’t want to know!”

But theories do abound, and Game Of Thrones sixth season has many theories preceding it, reported The Week.

And many of those are concerned with Jon Snow. Some theorize that he’s still alive.

“Dead is dead,” however, said the producers and Snow’s alter ego Kit Harington.
