Jenelle Evans Engaged: ‘Teen Mom 2′ Star Announces Engagement to Boyfriend Gary Head

Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans finally has some good news to share.

Evans, who normally hits the media’s radar for incidents involving the law, announced earlier that she and her on-again, off-again boyfriend of five months, Gary Head, were engaged.

“I’m the luckiest girl in the world to have @gary_head in my life,” the now 20-year-old mother tweeted Wednesday, posting a picture of herself and her engagement ring.

While Evans was mum on the details about when and how Head proposed to her, a close friend of Jenelle’s revealed to E! News that Gary “surprised her on a Monday when she was dropping [her 3-year-old son] Jace off at her mom’s and [proposed] there on one knee and all.”

Interestingly enough, Head’s recent proposal wasn’t the first time he had popped the big question to Jenelle.

“Gary asked her to marry him last month,” a source close to Evans told US Weekly. “She wasn’t certain about Gary and didn’t want things to be that serious between them.”

On April 8, Evans, 20, tweeted that she and Head, 22, broke up.

Eight days later, Head tweeted out a photo of the engagement ring on April 12, writing: “Glad I can get my money back for this!!!!”

After splitting with Gary, Evans briefly hooked up again with her previous boyfriend, Kieffer Delp, before ending it again after he leaked post breast augmentation surgery photos to the media.

She reunited with Head after he helped her recover from the breast implants she had undergone earlier in May.

“Gary took care of her when she was recovering, and that made it solid to her, that he was really there for her,” the source told Us.
