Comedian Learns Boyfriend Was Cheating After He Was Arrested For Murdering Another Woman’s Ex

Ayanna Dookie, a New York comedian, says that she learned her boyfriend of three years, Spike, was cheating on her in the “craziest way” possible. Dookie says that she learned Spike was cheating after receiving a text message that her boyfriend had been arrested for murdering his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. Dookie says she was confused because she was Spike’s girlfriend; however, after reading the arrest record, she knew that she had been cheated on and that her man had just killed another person over the “other woman.”

The New York Post reports that comedian Ayanna Dookie was thrilled when she met Spike at a party in 2004. The comedian says that Spike was her first “real” boyfriend as previously she had only had one-night stands and “complicated” relationships. Therefore, when one year into the relationship another woman approached Ayanna and implied that Spike was being unfaithful, she said she didn’t even want to hear it. Instead of listening to what the woman had to say, Dookie she didn’t want to know and preferred to live in denial as all that mattered to her at that time was that she had a man.

However, all of that changed in 2008 when Ayanna says that she received a text message from a friend that said, “So sorry that happened.” Dookie, not having heard the news of her boyfriend’s arrest, responded, “What are you talking about?” The friend simply informed her to Google her boyfriend’s real name to find out.

The comedian says she immediately turned on her computer and Googled her boyfriend’s name. The article that came up stated that her boyfriend was “being held for the murder of his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend.” However, there was only one problem, she didn’t have any ex-boyfriends and she was currently Spike’s girlfriend. That is when she found out that her boyfriend of three years was cheating on her.

According to the Daily Mail, Spike’s “other woman” had a crazy ex-boyfriend who broke into her home while Spike was staying over. The two men got into a physical altercation and Spike ended up shooting the man eight times.

“It turned out that one of the women who Spike was cheating with had a crazy ex-boyfriend who broke into her house when he was staying over. There had been a fight and Spike shot the man eight times, killing him.”

Ayanna Dookie says she never spoke to Spike again but that she heard his lawyer was able to get the charges dropped on the grounds of self-defense. Can you imagine finding out your boyfriend was cheating on you due to a murder arrest?
