Tom Brady, Gisele Bundchen Marriage In Trouble Following Deflategate? [Rumor]
It’s not been the easiest summer for Tom Brady.
Sure, he should have spent the last few months wallowing in the success of yet another Super Bowl triumph with the New England Patriots, but instead he has had to face wave after wave of accusations regarding his involvement in the Deflategate scandal. And now it has allegedly affected his marriage.
A source close to People magazine, via the Daily Mail, has alleged that Brady and Bundchen’s marriage suffered greatly during the recent football season.
They explained, “There have been a lot of stresses in their marriage in the last year, especially during football season.”
Bundchen and Brady, who have been married for six years, struggled because the New England Patriots quarterback and father of three became overly obsessed with his profession and his own personal struggles. This left the 38-year-old acting “nasty and cold.”
The insider added, “Tom is singularly focused on his career and sometimes Gisele feels left out. There have been arguments.”
Earlier this summer, Tom Brady was suspended for four matches from the upcoming NFL season after he allegedly deflated the footballs during the Patriots’ game against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC championship game. Brady has strongly insisted that he had nothing to do with this.
Meanwhile, there have been various reports, via Page Six, that Gisele Bundchen underwent plastic surgery at some point in the summer. These were exacerbated when she was photographed in Paris by herself, wearing a burqa and visiting a plastic surgeon.
However, despite their struggles this summer, another source for People insisted that their marital strife had been blown way out of proportion.
They explained, “This summer was just a bit different. Gisele had a lot going on, so they weren’t always in the same place at the same time.”
Another source close to the model added, “They’re living their life, and they’re doing great. They didn’t spend his birthday together because he was in training camp.”
Meanwhile, the pair have even been spotted on numerous dates around the Boston area in recent weeks, while the model’s Instagram account has also been littered with posts showcasing just how much fun she’s been having with her family.
Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen have been dating since December 2006. They had been set up on a blind date by a mutual friend. They married on February 26, 2009, in Santa Monica. Brady has one child, 8-year-old John Edward Thomas Moynahan, from his previous relationship with Bridget Moynahan, while he and Bundchen have two children together, 5-year-old Benjamin and 2-year-old Vivian.
