WWE News: Undertaker To Take Time Off After Beating Brock Lesnar At SummerSlam?

After looking at social media after WWE SummerSlam went off the air, there was a lot of mixed emotions following the match between Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker. It’s clear now that the Undertaker is a heel, simply because of the way he defeated Lesnar. To quickly recap the ending of the match, Taker tapped out to the Kimura Lock, but the ref never saw it. Therefore, the former-WWE champion heard the bell ring and he thought he won.

Once the referee turned around to scold the timekeeper for prematurely ringing the bell, Undertaker landed another low blow and put Lesnar into the Hell’s Gate finishing move. Before passing, the WWE’s resident-beast gave the Undertaker the “middle finger” and passed out.

As the WWE Universe saw last night, Undertaker did not appear on WWE Raw. His appearance, as well as Sting’s, were rumored all week. Sting ended up showing up at the end of Raw. The WWE Universe found out that he will face Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at Night of Champions.

Where does this leave the Undertaker? According to Dave Meltzer and Ringside News, don’t expect to see the Undertaker in the WWE for the foreseeable future.

“Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that The Undertaker will most likely be off WWE television until it’s time to shoot an angle for WrestleMania 32 season.”

“Brock Lesnar‘s next scheduled event is a WWE Live Event at Madison Square Garden on October 3rd. This event will air on the WWE Network.”

A lot of justifications are coming out because of this report. The one that got the most traction was Undertaker reportedly collapsing before he exited the stage at WWE SummerSlam.

There have been reports that refute this footage, as Undertaker was seen with his wife, Michelle McCool, near the hotel they were staying at that night. From a medical standpoint, somebody can collapse and then act normally hours later in the night. No evidence points to a hospital visit by the former-World Heavyweight champion either.

Therefore, the Undertaker was written off WWE television by screwing Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam. As of this report, Lesnar and Taker aren’t scheduled for a rematch at WrestleMania 32. Now, the Deadman should come back for a storyline in February or March, but that doesn’t appear to be with Sting. There’s a lot of time left before that date, but Undertaker won’t be on WWE television anytime soon.
