Josh Duggar Should Be Forgiven Says Sadie Robertson, ‘Duck Dynasty’ Star Shares Her Opinion

Josh Duggar has been caught in many secrets, lies, and now cheating on his wife, Anna. It looks like everyone is weighing in on the Ashley Madison hack that has caused yet another scandal for the former reality star. Duck Dynasty’s Sadie Robertson just recently gave her opinion on the Duggar family in an interview with People.

The 18-year-old was promoting her new book, Live Original, while also stating that she thinks the Duggars should forgive Josh for his latest transgressions. Sadie is not one to mince words when it comes to her faith, which stands for forgiveness and loving each other through a trial. She talks about how secrets are bad and should not be kept under wraps.

“It’s been kind of a secret for a long time, and everybody knows, when secrets come out, it’s not fun. Secrets are hard. You shouldn’t keep secrets. At this point it is what it is, and so they’re just going to have to make the best out of it… If they can forgive him, it will all work out.”

Josh Duggar has brought more scandal upon himself when he confessed to being involved with the Ashley Madison website, which gloats that “life is short, have an affair.” With his history of sexual molestation in his past, and this latest confession of cheating on his wife, it seems that not many people believe that Josh should be forgiven, especially if he doesn’t do anything about it.

Most are begging Anna Duggar to take her four children and leave her husband, at least until he gets help for his issues. Even Anna’s brother has slammed Josh, and says that he is trying to get her to come live with him and his family for a while. According to Fox News, her sibling did not have nice things to say about Josh Duggar.

However, Sadie Robertson feels for the Duggar family having their name slung around in the mud over the news and social media.

“It honestly makes me really sad that they’re having to go through this, because it’s one thing to go through it as a family, and it would be just as hard for them if they weren’t in the limelight, but… everybody’s talking about it, and that just adds that many more comments, that many more opinions. We’ve been there, it’s hard.”

Sadie is talking about the time when Phil Robertson made his anti-gay comments and the whole family suffered from it. Duck Dynasty was hanging by a thread at that point, and almost got canceled.

“That would have been, in my opinion, not a very good decision, because that was putting one man’s words in all of our mouths. Josh Duggar, that’s not his whole family. His whole family didn’t do that. He made a mistake.”

Of course, many would say that these two situations are totally different. The young reality star seems like she is just saying that families should not all be punished for what a child, parent, or any family member, has done or said. She is friends with Josh Duggar’s sisters and she said that they are doing okay, despite all that is happening in their family.

Should Josh Duggar be forgiven if he does a turnaround and gets help for his pornography addiction and for cheating on his wife?
