The Weeknd Just Got Better With Epic Leaked Preview Of New Album

The weekend just got better for a lot of The Weeknd fans as his Twitter followers got an epic weekend preview of the new album Beauty Behind The Madness.

According to Hollywood Life‘s report, The Weeknd teased his future album’s release date with an 18-minute preview containing all 14 tracks. Fans can click here to listen to the leaked songs.

The Weeknd will be joined by some of the top talent in the music industry on the new collection of songs. Beauty Behind The Madness will have collaborations with Lana Del Ray, Ed Sheeran, and Labrinth. Lana Del Ray joins the artist on “Prisoner” while Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd team up for “Dark Times.” Kanye West also produced a song for The Weeknd.

The Weeknd has had a single near the top of the charts for weeks, including tracks on the soon-to-be released album. With “Can’t Feel My Face” joining “Worth It,” fans of the Canadian-born R&B singer had previously tasted the flavor of his tracks on Beauty Behind The Madness.

Fans of The Weeknd have also heard him on other recent duets. Joining Sia on “Elastic Heart” and Ariana Grande for “Love Me Harder,” the artist has provided a steady supply of songs for fans to consume.

A review by Boombox writer Trent Fitzgerald praises the tracks previewed.

“After listening to the sampler, it looks like the Weeknd’s has delivered his best work yet. There’s no track list to follow but all of the songs feature the Weeknd’s piercing falsetto as he sings about sexual trysts, drugs and love — usually all in one song.”

Beauty Behind The Madness is the second album from The Weeknd following his debut tracks on Kiss Land. The new 14-track collection will be available on August 28.

Billboard is reporting that one song on Beauty Behind The Madness has a unique origin. In a recent interview, The Weeknd opened up about collaborating with Ed Sheeran (although he failed to mention which song).

“I wrote a song with Ed Sheeran that was kind of spontaneous. He was hosting the Much Music Awards in Toronto and I invited him, and pretty much the entire awards show, to my condo to party. It went on until about 5 in the morning but we didn’t write the song until that next day, so you can imagine how that night went.”

Fans can catch up with The Weeknd on a concert series through North America this fall. The artist is also lined up to perform at the MTV Video Music Awards August 30.
