Selena Gomez ‘Love Shrine’? 5SOS Singer Luke Hemmings Reveals His Disney Crush
It looks like another bad boy has a crush on Selena Gomez. Luke Hemmings of the pop-punk band 5 Seconds of Summer revealed that he has a crush on the “Good For You” singer. In fact, his crush may seem borderline creepy to some of his fans.
The guitarist and lead singer of 5SOS is kind of obsessed with Selena Gomez, according to his band mates. The band was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight on Monday, August 17. Hemming’s bandmates let the celebrity gossip site know that he’s sent letters and made shrines dedicated to Selena Gomez.
Bassist Calum Hood admits that Luke even writes letters dedicated to Selena.
“He writes fan mail! He actually writes poems as well — ‘My Dear Selena.'”
Hemming’s other bandmates, Ashton Irwin and Michael Clifford, chimed in, saying, “He has a love shrine in the kitchen! Yeah, that love shrine is so weird.”
Even though Selena is a single lady these days, she might want to avoid Luke. He’s admitted to Australian radio station NOVA FM that he even follows Selena on Twitter and tried to slide into her DMs. He chickened out because he “didn’t want to be creepy.”
During his Entertainment Tonight interview, Hemmings said his crush is not as creepy as it appears.
“No, I’m not actually that obsessed with Selena. Galena Somez? Oh! You mean Galena Somez! Galena is kind of hot.”
He was playfully downplaying the rumors by promoting their new song, “She’s Kind of Hot.” Luke Hemmings is also shutting down the girlfriend rumors. It’s been rumored that he’s been dating Aleisha McDonald in the middle of his 5SOS Tour. But he’s been denying the rumors left and right. Maybe he wants to keep himself available for Selena Gomez.
During the tour, Luke Hemmings embraced his femininity while denying the girlfriend rumors involving Aleisha McDonald.
According to a recent report via Sugarscape, during his Houston concert, “Luke Hemmings revealed his true identity as an undercover pixie of the meadows, by stepping out on stage wearing a delightful floral crown.”
Unfortunately for Luke, Selena Gomez may have her sights set on another bad boy. In a recent interview, Gomez says that she “loves” Zayn Malik. She would even consider collaborating with the former One Direction singer, but only if he reaches out to her first.
“I know Zayn, so it’s almost like if he would ever want to reach out, he knows that he could,” Selena revealed on Key 103 in Manchester.
Hopefully, Luke Hemmings won’t hear this or his hopes will get crushed.
