Lady Gaga Says She Is More Like Iron Maiden Than Madonna

Some people think some of Lady Gaga’s music sounds very familiar to Madonna‘s. However, according to a new interview with CR Fashion Book, Lady Gaga tries to deny the similarity. The issue isn’t out yet, but Style.com quotes Gaga talking about her one-time nemesis, Madonna.

“I always used to say to people when they would say, ‘Oh, she’s the next Madonna’: ‘No, I’m the next Iron Maiden.'”

You can bet a quote like this will make Madonna’s rebel hearts seething mad while what’s left of Lady Gaga’s little monsters will fight back. However, the truth is that there is no Madonna and Lady Gaga feud — at least not any more according to an interview with Rolling Stone.

“And this is why I love the idea of embracing other females who are doing what I’m doing…The only time I ever criticized Lady Gaga was when I felt like she blatantly ripped off one of my songs.”

Madonna further adds that she thinks Gaga is a very talented singer and songwriter. She also thinks people turned the controversy over Gaga copying “Express Yourself” into a huge feud, which she thinks is boring. Lady Gaga doesn’t seem to mind Madonna anymore either, given that Madge attended one of Lady Gaga’s parties recently. It’s completely unfortunate that if you go to an article about Madonna, there are always Lady Gaga fans who make horrific comments afterwards. Likewise, if there is an article about Gaga, Madonna’s fans go in for the kill.

Both Madonna and Lady Gaga are too busy with their careers to care about an imaginary feud. Madonna is about to announce her Rebel Heart Tour, with many dates already sold out or near to selling out before the tour begins. In what could be a great career move or a horrible mistake, Lady Gaga is getting ready to appear in American Horror Story. Creator Ryan Murphy recently talked to Entertainment Weekly about Lady Gaga’s character.

“Her character’s name is Elizabeth. She owns the hotel, and she is sort of a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode and plays out over the course of the season.”
