WWE News: Huge Surprises Set For ‘WWE SummerSlam’ On Sunday, MITB Cash In Coming?

WWE SummerSlam is this Sunday and it looks to be a very stacked card. Not only is the event going to be four hours for the first time in WWE history, but epic history could be made even more so the same night. John Cena and Seth Rollins are facing off for both Cena’s WWE United States Championship and Rollins’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship, where the winner would take all.

According to Cageside Seats, the idea going into the match is that a swerve is quite possible. One concept is that a disqualification would cost the pair to not lose either title. This would allow both to get out of the match with their respective titles and then both could lose them at another time. Although Seth Rollins may lose his despite the DQ.

There is a rumor that WWE is planning to have Money in the Bank winner Sheamus cash-in his case on the winner of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Whether it is a DQ that happens or not, the WWE World Title holder won’t be either John Cena or Seth Rollins after WWE SummerSlam. Of course that is IF the cash-in occurs.

Another surprise set for the event may be in the form of The Rock. Rock is supposed to perform at WrestleMania 32 next year, and the rumored opponents are Brock Lesnar or Triple H. It appears that Rock will face off with The Game, and this match might end up being set at WWE SummerSlam. There is some sort of possibility that The Rock could make an appearance in the Family vs Family match with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns as they take on Luke Harper and Bray Wyatt.

Erick Rowan is rumored to be at the event to help out in the match in some way, as his injury is pretty much healed. That said, Rock could make the save if needed. Sting is also a possibility if this occurs as he is also set to be in town that night.

WWE is planning to have at least two surprised on Sunday at SummerSlam. These are the rumored surprises as it stands now, but WWE very well could add more or change things up and really deliver something shocking for their fans. In a world where surprise is tough, WWE would have to pull off something big that night that no fan would see coming. Barring a John Cena heel turn, I don’t see this happening however.
