Is Jessa Duggar Having Twins? She And Ben Seewald Share Confusing Messages About Multiples
Jessa Duggar recently tried to make her fans think that she might be having twins, and it’s not the first time she’s mentioned multiples. However, there’s a slight problem with the former 19 Kids and Counting star’s social media guessing game — she’s already provided evidence proving that she only has one bun in the oven.
According to In Touch Weekly, 22-year-old Jessa Duggar recently shared an Instagram post that hints that she and 20-year-old husband Ben Seewald could be expecting twins. Jessa is around 29 weeks pregnant with her first child, and she’s been sharing baby bump photo updates with her fans on an almost-weekly basis. However, she and her husband are keeping the sex of their baby a secret for now.
In the post below, Jessa asks her fans to visit the Seewald Family website to vote on what they think her baby’s sex will be. As you can see, she wants her fans to think that it’s possible that she’s having a girl and a boy.

This isn’t the first time Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have talked twins. In their birth announcement video, the couple joked about making smoothies for more than one baby. According to E! News, Ben also responded by saying that “it could be both” after Jessa asked him if he thought they were having a boy or girl. However, as the Inquisitr previously reported, Jessa dropped the multiples act back in April when she referred to “Baby Seewald” as “this little person.” She also shared an ultrasound video that clearly shows only one fetus.

Even though Jessa is the one who keeps publicly hinting that she could be having twins, Michelle Duggar claimed responsibility for starting the twin rumor. According to the International Business Times, Michelle told KGUN’s The Morning Blend that she merely mentioned the possibility of multiples when Jessa informed her family members that she was expecting. Apparently Jessa liked this suggestion, and she’s been using the twin tease to keep her fans in suspense ever since.
“I think maybe Mom, Grandma here, started that rumor,” Michelle said. “I said to Jessa when she let us know that they were expecting, we were so thrilled. I said, ‘Who knows, Jess? You may have twins!'”
