Kate Middleton Beat Out Yet Again For ‘Most Stylish Young Royal’ Title, But Who By?
Kate Middleton never fails to be praised for her fashion sense. The masses would expect the gorgeous mother-of-two and wife to Prince William to take the title for “Most Stylish Young Royal” quite easily. However, Hello! Magazine has relayed that the Duchess of Cambridge has fallen short of the lead once again in regards to this crowning achievement in the world of royal fashion. The British magazine, which focuses heavily on the life of the royals, developed the poll for its readers and thereby arrived at the results.
So, who has snagged the title away from the brunette beauty who wears only the most elegant and chic designs? Denmark’s Crown Princess, Mary, is the “young royal” who has done just that, and it’s not the first time either. Mary took the top spot last year also, as Daily Mail shares.
“[Princess Mary] took out the title of ‘most stylish young royal’ ahead of nine others including Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.This is the second year the Australian-born princess has taken out the title, which is decided by a readers’ poll created by British celebrity magazine Hello!“
The fashionista princess, hailing from Denmark, took almost 30 percent of the votes that were cast by a readership of more than 30,000. Middleton, believe it or not, didn’t even take the runner-up position, as she was bumped to third by Queen Maxima of the Netherlands. Hello! outlines the reasons that they believe their readers selected Princess Mary for the title once again.
“Polished without ever being overdone and having perfected the art of making appropriate fashion choices that still have an edge, Mary radiates the confidence of a woman who knows what works for her. Earlier this month the Australian-born beauty attended Copenhagen Fashion Week to present an award in her capacity as patron of the Designers’ Nest Show and Award. From floaty floral dresses to exquisitely tailored jackets, the mum-of-four showed prize-winning style herself.”
Surely, however, Kate received an overwhelming number of votes, as she has impeccable taste and almost always chooses to wear designs by some of the notable designers, including Jenny Peckham and the infamous Alexander McQueen. Recently, the Duchess has stepped out in the designs of the French talent who has a remarkable ability to design for the female form, Mouret.
Hello! makes mention of all that Kate has done for fashion in the U.K. and relays reasons that she, too, deserves such a high ranking on their poll.
