Toy Story 4 Love Story

‘Toy Story 4’: Buzz And Woody Will Search For A Familiar Friend

When it was announced that the Toy Story franchise would continue with a fourth film, it seemed like a mistake. The series wrapped up very nicely with college-bound Andy saying goodbye to his old toys. They were even packed up in a box and given to an adorable girl named Bonnie.

That said, with the success of the third film, Pixar wanted to cash in on the new fan base that the Toy Story 3 gained. As the Inquisitr reported, actress Rashida Jones and Will McCormack are both taking over the franchise as writers on the fourth film. While details have been scarce about the upcoming film, Cinema Blend has just obtained some information to make any fan excited.

The D23 Expo announced that Woody and Buzz’s newest journey will have them looking for the character Bo Peep.

According to the report, “The story is apparently inspired by director John Lasseter’s wife Nancy. Lasseter announced that the film is a story about a relationship between Woody and Bo Peep.”

This supports the news that Toy Story 4 will focus on a love story. Buzz and Woody will have their work cut out for them, as Bo Peep was one of the toys that made their way out of Andy’s room somewhere between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 3. The whereabouts of Bo Peep are currently not known.

For those who remember, Bo Peep is not exactly a toy, but rather a fixture on Andy’s lamp. Still, she was a piece that Andy played with, so she “became” a toy. During the franchise, it was obvious to see that Bo Peep had feelings for Woody, and now it looks like Woody is returning those feelings. We did get a hint from Woody earlier that he might have felt something for Bo Beep.

In addition, Pixar’s John Lasseter announced that he’s directing the film.

“I love being chief creative officer and executive producing and working with all these incredible filmmakers. But you know what? I love directing. So I’m coming back.”

Fans reacted to the news about Bo Peep’s return for Toy Story 4.
