Kate Moss Divorce: Is Betrayed Model Trying Desperately To Save Her Doomed Marriage?

Kate Moss’ marriage to Jamie Hince appears to be headed toward divorce, but that doesn’t mean the model isn’t trying desperately to prevent that from happening, the Mirror is reporting.

Rumors of a Kate Moss-Jamie Hince divorce have been swirling since last month, when Hince was spotted canoodling with Victoria’s Secret model Jessica Stam outside a trendy West Hollywood night club. The 41-year-old Moss and the 46-year-old Hince are said to have been exchanging heated phone calls and text messages since that time.

An unnamed source close to Moss says that she’s planning on flying to Michigan to meet with Hince, who’s currently on tour in the U.S. with his band, The Kills, in a last-ditch effort to stave off divorce. The Kills are currently on a six-week break.

“They are going to meet up to really see if all is lost. They still care for each other. There have been several phone calls. Kate still wears her wedding ring and is desperate to see Jamie before his tour starts up again next month. She is not going to take no for an answer, and Jamie still cares about her. He knows they have a lot to sort out.”

Unfortunately for Kate Moss, she’s had some legal problems that could hamper her visa application and keep her out of the U.S., including a cocaine conviction and some unruly behavior on an airplane.

However, according to the New York Daily News, another source alleges that Jamie Hince sees divorce as all but inevitable.

“They are properly over as a married couple. It’s gone past the point of no return. Jamie’s just waiting for Kate to move forward with divorce proceedings.”

The source states further that Kate Moss’ jealousy about Jamie’s friendships with other women has been the undoing in their marriage.

“She’s always been beyond jealous about his female friends and he was sick of it.”

Kate Moss has been leaning on her ex-husband and father of her daughter, Jefferson Hack, through these difficult times, says a source.

“Jefferson has been Kate’s rock through all of this. He has been comforting her and helping her through her problems with Jamie. She has really cut back on her partying, and desperately wants to see if she can make a go of it with Jamie again. If they both come to realize it just doesn’t work, she wants to remain friends. Kate and Jefferson have managed to do it, so she doesn’t see why it can’t work out with Jamie.”

As of this post, Kate Moss has not commented publicly on her pending divorce.
