Ben Affleck Meets Up With Jennifer Garner In Atlanta Amid Cheating Scandal
Actor Ben Affleck took time out this weekend to meet up with ex-wife Jennifer Garner and their children in Atlanta, Georgia.
People reports that Affleck visited Garner in her rental home in the Atlanta area this weekend. Later, Affleck and Garner took their kids to lunch and to see a movie. An undisclosed source close to the family indicates that Affleck and Garner are trying to remain friends, taking each day as it comes, but talking on a daily basis.
“They are still getting through and doing their own stuff and taking care of the kids, but it’s not easy on them.”
Garner rented an Atlanta home while filming the upcoming movie, Miracles from Heaven. Affleck is also working on his own career and is slated to star in three standalone Batman films.
Affleck’s appearance in Atlanta marks one of the first times he’s been spotted after his alleged affair with his 28-year-old former nanny, Christine Ouzounian, surfaced. According to numerous sources, Affleck’s attraction to Ouzounian started while she still worked as a nanny for the then-married couple.
“They would hang out without the kids. And they were very flirty.”
Although Garner discovered the affair and fired Ouzounian from her nanny duties, it seems as if Affleck wasn’t quite ready to let her go. The pair is now reportedly dating amid Affleck’s extremely public divorce.
A friend of Ouzounian revealed last month that the former nanny believes that Affleck “really likes her.” The pair have been reportedly sending texts messages back and forth and spending time together in Los Angeles.
“She says Ben really, really likes her. She’s saying this is true love.”
Affleck’s representatives, however, call the rumors about any form of romantic relationship between the two “baseless and not true.” Ouzounian has not commented on the issue.
According to Us Weekly, Affleck has been tucked away on his 50 acres of land in Savannah, Georgia, avoiding all media coverage of his alleged relationship with the nanny. However, despite the two talking daily, another undisclosed source states that Garner is only talking to him to facilitate visitation times with his children.
“She will facilitate him seeing the kids, but other than that, she is finished. What happened with Christine is the ultimate betrayal.”
Fortunately, it looks as if Ben Affleck plans to remain an integral part of his children’s lives. He has three children with Garner, Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
