Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Reunite, But Not For Love

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced an end to their seemingly perfect marriage last month, yet Affleck and Garner are taking their time in separating, trying to make every effort to make the coming changes as painless as possible for their children. During their marriage, Jennifer and Ben had three children together, Violet, now 9; Seraphina, now 6; and Samuel, now 3, so obviously their well-being is the most important thing to Jennifer and Ben.

Jennifer Garner has been busy filming in Atlanta, and spends much of her time off set with her children. Mr. Affleck joined Jennifer and family in Atlanta, where the entire family were spotted attending a school fair.

“He’s going to be there for most of the summer,” a source close to the couple said of Affleck. “That was the plan. He’s happy to be there with the family.”

It seems as though the divorce is the furthest thing from the minds of both Affleck and Garner, and, in fact, the couple has agreed to divide their assets via a mediator. The source close to the family added that Ben and Jennifer are “concentrating on being a family right now.”

“[Garner]’s finishing a film, so there hasn’t been like, ‘Okay, let’s get this done now,’ because they always were like, ‘This is happening and still moving forward,'” the source added. “I don’t think they’re talking about it.”

Ben and Jennifer are still wearing their wedding rings as well, though the reason for that may be more for the children than out of sentiment, considering the efforts of both Garner and Affleck to make the divorce as painless as possible for the children.

There seems to be no wonder that Affleck has taken the opportunity to spend more time with Garner and their children, considering the implication that it was Jennifer promoting the idea of the divorce.

“This is not easy on him. I’m sure it’s not easy on Jen either, but this is hard for him… and he’s happy to be with the family.”

Another source close to both Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck suggested that the separation was much more mutual than previously implied.

“They grew apart. They were great parents together but they were not always on the same page.”

While in Atlanta, the entire family will be staying in Ms. Garner’s $2 million rental property, though not everyone will be staying in the main house. Ben Affleck will be staying in the guest house.
