Taylor Swift Is ‘Frightening,’ ‘Self-Serving,’ And ‘Calculating,’ According To Grizzly Bear Singer
Popular opinion continues to turn against Taylor Swift, after Grizzly Bear frontman Edward Droste released a string of Tweets that criticized the hugely popular singer.
The rivalry between Droste and Swift actually began earlier this year, when the 36-year-old took to his Twitter account to write about an “insanely powerful” celebrity who he insisted was “mean, rude, and arrogant.” Droste didn’t mention who the individual he lambasted was, and he soon then deleted it.
But on Sunday night, Edward Droste all but confirmed that he was talking about Swift when he re-tweeted a Star Magazine article that speculated Swift forced her close friends to wear certain clothes so she wasn’t upstaged at her concert in London on June 27.

After being asked whether he was the “Swift insider” who had been “dish[ing] all the dirt” on the singer, Droste teased that this is only the tip of the iceberg.
@Bethany_Devlin I have a whole other story to tell, still feels unsafe tho. She frightens me genuinely — Edward Droste (@edwarddroste) July 26, 2015
After being asked to reveal further details on the information that he had on Taylor Swift, Droste confirmed that he was already beginning to feel the backlash from her legion of fans.
@amandamichl yes I’m already feeling their super cool vibe. Sigh. Whatever. I can’t speak but for those model girls but I believe every word

He also re-tweeted the following message, just to underline the animosity that he has towards Taylor Swift.
I want to just put out here that I’ve always known Taylor swift was immensely evil as she is powerful

According to the BBC, earlier this year Droste wrote about how an unnamed celebrity he’d met was “terribly calculated and mean” and had “exceeded all my expectations of rudeness and arrogance.” He then ended his tweet with a capitalized “HATE” to prove just how much he despised the person.
Droste also asked people not to tag or identify the person he was talking about, adding, “If you know please don’t @ the person, they see all and have the capacity and desire to destroy. This is an eternal blind item, because I’m too petrified of their insane power. No need to speculate, just HAD to voice my disgust.”
