Tyga ‘Grateful’ To Khloe Kardashian For Supporting His Relationship With Kylie Jenner

Tyga is thankful for the support that Khloe Kardashian showed in her recent interview with Complex magazine. The reality star defended the rapper’s relationship with her underage sister.

According to a new report, Tyga is “grateful” with knowing how Khloe feels about his relationship with Kylie. Fans have slammed his relationship because Tyga is a grown man and Kylie is 17-years-old. Plus, the age of consent in California is 18.

An insider source told the Hollywood Life that Tyga is glad that Kardashian “gets” his relationship with the youngest Jenner teen. He’s grateful that the Kardashian sister is super supportive of their relationship.

“Tyga wants to give Khloe high fives to ten times over! He’s loving her interview about his relationship with Kylie, and his mind, Khloe gets it.”

The insider insisted that although Tyga’s relationship with Kylie is illegal in the state of California, their relationship is not as bad as it appears. The “Rack City” rapper was so elated about what Kardashian said, that he called her up just to thank her. Apparently, the rapper adores Khloe Kardashian and considers her and her sisters as “family.”

“She knows what they have is real and that Kylie’s not some little weak 17-year-old that everyone paints her to be. He’s real thankful that Khloe stepped up for Kylie and for him and Kylie. He couldn’t be happier. He called Khloe once he read the article to express his gratitude.”

Khloe Kardashian defended her younger sister’s relationship with the rapper because she believes that Kylie Jenner is more grown up than she appears. Not only did she confuse Kylie for Kendall, but she also called her sister’s relationship a “special case.”

“Kylie is not a normal 17-year-old. You’re not gonna say, ‘Hey, so what are you doing this weekend?’ and have her say, ‘Having a slumber party at my girlfriend’s’ or ‘Going to prom.’ That’s not what Kylie does. Kylie is taking business meetings and bought her first house, or she’s going on a private place with Karl Lagerfeld to take a meeting. It’s a rare circumstance, so let’s treat this as a special case.”

The youngest Kardashian sister received backlash for her controversial statements concerning her sister’s relationship with an older man. Some fans even went as far as to call the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star hypocritical, since she’s talking about her toxic relationship with an older man.

From an excerpt in her book, Kardashian Konfidential, Khloe explained how she lost her virginity to someone who was four years her junior. During a 2010 interview with Joy Behar, she even called her relationship with the man “disgusting.”

“I felt the need to put that in [the book] because I have little sisters. And my situation was not a good situation. I was 14 years old and I was dating an 18-year-old boy, which now I look back and I think that’s disgusting. But then I thought I was really cool and I was dating an older guy, and I just felt cool. Basically, I got pressured into having sex — I wasn’t ready — I barely knew my own body. I felt like if I didn’t [have sex with him] I would not be cool or this guy wouldn’t want to talk to me anymore.”

Joy Behar interrupted Khloe Kardashian to call her situation “statutory rape,” and the reality star agreed. Khloe appeared on the View and said that dating someone older wasn’t a “normal thing,” and she didn’t want the same happen to happen to her younger sisters.

“I think little girls, teenagers, my sisters need to know; Don’t let anybody pressure you, it’s not worth it.”

Now, it looks like Kardashian has had a change of heart since Tyga has entered the picture. Not only are the Kardashian-Jenner clan accepting of his relationship with an underage girl, the media has become more accepting of it as well. Several media outlets have noted how Tyga’s adoration for Kylie Jenner is “sweet” and “adorable.”
