‘General Hospital’ Teasers: A Big Farewell Plays Out In Port Charles [Spoilers]
Monday’s episode of General Hospital should be a great one for long-time fans. Anthony Geary’s character of Luke Spencer has made a big decision, and this should be front-and-center throughout the July 27 episode. What General Hospital spoilers are available for Monday’s show?
She Knows Soaps shares that on the July 27 episode, Luke Spencer will sort through the emotions tied to his decision. As viewers saw last week, Luke visited his childhood home and faced the realities of his past. Now he has decided that he needs to leave town. After decades on the show, Geary is leaving the role for good, and it plays out in this episode.
Luke had one last big adventure with Laura and Lucky, and now he’s been connecting with friends and family throughout Port Charles to say goodbye. As Celeb Dirty Laundry details, Geary’s last scene as Luke will be with Maurice Benard’s character of Sonny Corinthos.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Luke and Sonny will spend time together talking on the docks, reminiscing over all their adventures together. Then, Luke Spencer will walk off alone into the dark fog to go catch a boat that will take him out of town. As far as Geary is concerned at this point, this is the last that GH viewers will see of him in the role.
What else lies ahead on Monday’s episode? General Hospital spoilers indicate that Maxie and Madeline will share some awkward moments at the Metro Court as Nathan goes to check on Nina. Madeline is none too pleased that Nathan is with Maxie, and things get even more awkward when Valerie shows up and tears into Maxie, as well.
It seems that later in the episode, Madeline will try to convince Nathan to ditch Maxie, but he’s not about to do that. In fact, he seems thrilled to hear that Maxie stood up to his mother. Madeline, of course, is angling to convince Nathan that Nina has lost her mind, but at this point, it seems he’ll be more suspicious that Ric is up to something.
Also coming up on Monday’s episode, viewers will see Franco pushing Ava to tell Kiki the truth about what’s been happening with Morgan. General Hospital spoilers detail that Kiki will overhear part of the conversation between “Denise” and Franco, but it seems she’ll remain in the dark regarding the full truth for a bit yet.
Fans are very curious to see where things are headed in Port Charles now that the Luke Spencer farewell has wrapped up. Many are anxious to see the big Jason Morgan reveal. News of head writer Ron Carlivati’s firing leads many to hope that big developments on this front are coming soon, though it does seem that Carlivati’s writing will be playing out until mid-October or so.
When will more come out regarding Jake being Jason? Will Ric and Madeline’s plan to drive Nina crazy work? Viewers are anxious to see what comes next in the upcoming episodes of General Hospital.
