Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Wedding Plans, Engagement Ring Revealed: ‘Bachelorette’ Engaged, ‘Very Much In Love’
Is Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe still engaged to her final pick, and are wedding plans underway? The 30-year-old dance instructor confirmed in a recent Yahoo! chat that she is “very happy,” and revealed that she already knows what she wants her wedding gown to look like.
After Monday night’s final rose ceremony — which includes a proposal from both Nick Viall and Shawn Booth — Kaitlyn will show off her massive 3.5-carat Neil Lane diamond engagement ring and her new fiancée on the live After the Final Rose special.
Rumors that she has already broken up with her final pick are untrue, with Reality Steve stating that she is still engaged, and the couple is “giddy” about their new-found love.
Will she have Nick Viall or Shawn Booth by her side on stage at the ATFR? The outcome of the show is not much of a mystery, with both Kaitlyn Bristowe and the guy she picks giving out big clues as to how the final rose ceremony will play out.

Spoilers indicate that Shawn Booth is the guy that Kaitlyn gives her final rose to after a painful breakup with Nick Viall. According to a previous report from Inquisitr, when Kaitlyn rejects his proposal, he drops the F-bomb and storms out of the Bachelor mansion, once again coming in as the runner-up on the Bachelorette.
According to the most recent issue of Life & Style, there were lots of happy tears when Shawn proposed to Kaitlyn, and he is ecstatic that she said “yes” and accepted a ring rumored to be worth $100,000. A source reveals that Bristowe is “everything he’s ever wanted in a woman” and the couple is ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
“She went through so much to get here. But at the end of the day, Kaitlyn is so, so happy to be engaged… it’s really why she came on the show.”
There is no doubt that Chris Harrison will ask Shawn and Kaitlyn what their future plans are during the ATFR special. She’s already dished on Periscope that she needs to get a green card, so it looks like plans are in the works for the dancer from Vancouver to marry the fitness instructor who currently lives in Nashville.
Although fans probably won’t find out if the couple will be moving in together, or if they have picked out a wedding date, until Monday night’s finale, Kaitlyn already has a wedding gown in mind. The Bachelorette tells people that she has been dreaming about her wedding day, but she won’t be wearing a traditional dress — she has a “very bohemian” dress with a hippie headband in mind.
