Is Safaree Samuels Trying To Create Tension Between Nicki Minaj And Meek Mill?

Safaree Samuels may have been blasted by ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj’s new man, Meek Mill, earlier this week, but that doesn’t mean the rapper isn’t taking the opportunity to throw some shade of his own.

Meek Mill made headlines on Tuesday after the “All Eyes On You” rapper took to Twitter to share his thoughts about some of rap music’s biggest names, including Drake, Jay Z, and even his own girlfriend, Nicki Minaj.

Meek began his rant by blasting Minaj’s close friend and rumored ex, Drake, telling followers that the “Energy” rapper doesn’t write his own raps.

“Stop comparing drake to me too…He don’t write his own raps! That’s why he ain’t tweet my album because we found out! The whole game know forreal they scared to tell the truth! I can’t wiat tok these guys and sit back and act like they don’t know! Don’t compare me to none of the cats that don’t write they own raps either……Lol.”

Meek continued his rant by acknowledging his collaboration with Jay Z while noting that his posts are not intended to shade the rapper.

“He aint even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album…I don’t trick my fans! Lol. I only know how to tell the truth….If hov gave me a verse somebody wrote I would do the same thing! No shade to hov! If we found out jayz ain’t write his own raps that’s ok! I would prolly really cry!”

Meek then turned his attention to blasting Minaj’s former relationship with Safaree, asking how the rapper was comfortable with Nicki dancing on other rappers while they were still together.

“I asked her about how she did that with a boyfriend that was b4 me! Lol. This n**** SB was twerking mannnnnnnn….I always thought u was gay.”

Samuels didn’t take too kindly to Meek’s diss, telling TMZ that Meek should be more concerned about the fact that Nicki still reaches out to him despite her ongoing relationship with Mill.

Once Minaj heard about Safaree trying to drag her into his feud with Meek Mill, Nicki took to Twitter to set the record straight for her inquiring fans.

“He knows when u hit me. He sees the entire convo so don’t purposely try to be misleading. That’s corny if it’s true. Wish u the best.”

Not long after Minaj sounded off on Twitter, Samuels took to his own Twitter account to further shade his ex-girlfriend by suggesting that Nicki hit him up only a few weeks ago for his birthday on July 3.

“Show him the email you sent me on my birthday. If were not 2gthr u shouldnt be questioning me about old s*** at all. thats not moving on.”

Now, sources close to Nicki Minaj reveal to Urban Islandz that Meek’s Twitter rant about Safaree and Drake is creating tension in the duo’s relationship.

“They had an argument yesterday over something silly regarding Drake and he just blew a fuse. He is basically thinking that Nicki and Drake were more than just friends but that is ridiculous. They are great rappers signed to the same label who have a mutual respect for each other’s talent.”

In addition, the source notes that the usually loved-up couple didn’t show any affection during their Tuesday night stop for The Pinkprint Tour, leading fans to believe that there might be trouble in paradise for the hip hop duo.

Meek even seemingly blasted Minaj during his Twitter rant, telling fans that Nicki is in no way responsible for his success.

“And it’s get it clear Nicki or nobody not responsible for my success…I been had that culture with me..Don’t ever get that confused!!”
