Ben Affleck And Jennifer Lopez Reunion? Leah Remini Comments
Would Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez ever get back together? That’s something people want to know, one caller in specific during Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live!
Jennifer Lopez’s good friend Leah Remini was on the show to answer questions and get a bit gossipy with host Andy Cohen. That said, when she was asked whether or not Ben would go back to Lopez after divorcing Jennifer Garner, she wasn’t giving up any details.
After having a laugh with Andy Cohen about being “interested” in that answer, Remini said, “I really don’t know. Even if I did, I probably wouldn’t [say], because it would be weird for me to comment on people’s lives. But no, not anything that I know of is…The guy is married and she’s in a relationship.”
When Cohen tried to find out whether or not that was a confirmation Lopez was back with boyfriend Casper Smart, Remini backtracked.
“No. I’m just saying that whatever’s in the news is the data that we have. It’s the data we’re working with.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Ben Affleck was mentioned on Watch What happens Live! in recent weeks. When Jennifer Lopez was on the show, she dished about her ex. During the “Plead the Fifth” segment she said
“Was the transformation of Ben Affleck your doing? Did you dress him when you were dating him?”
Lopez replied, looking quite amused, “Yeah, I did kind of like say, ‘You need to be… you’re a movie star, you should wear a suit! You should do this with your hair! For sure. I mean, I do that and by the way, guys do that to girls too.”
She continued, “He was into it. He didn’t do anything he didn’t want to do. He had some good moments, good fashion moments when he was with me.”
That said, we don’t see Bennifer 1.0 happening anytime soon. Back in 2012, he told GQ about the gossip that surrounded his relationship with Jennifer Lopez.
“The most pernicious illusion, myth, was that this is something that this guy wants. ‘He’s wanting this much coverage.’ That’s the most unappealing thing that you can say about somebody. And I knew how disastrous it was.”
He continued, “It was the last thing I wanted, and I could tell it was damaging me, and I tried to get away from it, but there was still this idea: This is what this guy wants, he’s a shallow guy, a camera whore or whatever. And there was no convincing people that that wasn’t the case.”
