‘Rookie Blue’ Season 6 Episode 5 Preview: Traci Is Kidnapped [Video]

One member of 15 Division is going to be in trouble once again in this week’s Rookie Blue, season 6 episode 5, “A Real Gentleman,” airing in the U.S. on ABC. This time, it’s Detective Traci Nash (Enuka Okuma) in the crosshairs. How will she be saved?

Because it is a question of how, not if – at least you have to hope it is, since 15 Division on Rookie Blue is no stranger to losing someone on the job. (Remember what happened when Charlotte Sullivan’s Gail was kidnapped? R.I.P. Jerry.) In this episode, Traci does not show up to lead a raid she has been planning involving a gun dealer, and the rest of 15 Division realize there has to be a reason – that something is very, very wrong. What happened to her? Why didn’t she show up to lead the raid?

TV Insider has posted a sneak peek from this episode (which you can watch below), showing Traci bound and gagged, alone in a room and, Nick (Peter Mooney) and Chloe (Priscilla Faia) searching a house. Will they find her? It begins to look that way, but as turns out to be the case most times in TV and movies when something like this happens, they are in different places. The person who joins Traci at the actual location is most definitely not there to rescue her.

ABC.com has also posted a couple of promotional photos from this episode. They show Chris (Travis Milne), Chloe and Nick searching a house for their missing friend, as well as Andy (Missy Peregrym) and Gail investigating what happened to Traci.

The promo below for this Rookie Blue episode that was released when it first aired in Canada, and it offers a look at how Traci is kidnapped – and how the others realize she’s missing. How far will Steve (Adam MacDonald) go with Traci in trouble?

As the Inquisitr previously reported, there has not yet been any word on whether or not there will be another Rookie Blue season. However, that news is expected to come sooner rather than later. In the meantime, fans can buy the first half of the fifth season. The second half is airing as season 6 in the U.S. on DVD on August 18. The three-disc set includes all 11 episodes, and the special features include a “Life Is Not a Fairytale” featurette and the webisodes.

Rookie Blue airs Thursdays at 10 p.m. on ABC.
