‘I’m Dating Your Girlfriend’ Prank Goes Viral, Fans React On Twitter

How would you react if a stranger told you, “I’m dating your girlfriend?”

That is exactly what FouseyTube, a popular YouTube prankster, decided to find out with his newest prank-turned-viral video.

He explains exactly how he was able to pull off his prank in the introduction of the online video.

“I’m going to use Instagram’s geo-tag feature to find people in the area who have girlfriends. When I creep their page, I’m going to find out their girlfriend’s name and what she looks like. I’ma go up to the guy and tell him that I’m the guy that she’s been sleeping with. Hopefully, they don’t get too mad.”

Apparently, he was able to find quite a few people through the Instagram geo-tag feature because the “dating your girlfriend prank” was an overall success.

There was one failed attempt, though, featured in the footage. One of the first “victims” of the “dating your girlfriend” prank responded by laughing, claiming “Congratulations, m*********r. You just got an STD.”

Since it was first released on YouTube Sunday, quite a few people have posted their reactions and reviews of the now-viral prank on Twitter.

The “I’m Dating Your Girlfriend” prank has already generated more than 500,000 views within its first 24 hours of being posted online.
