Calvin Harris Releases New Single ‘How Deep Is Your Love’ With Music Trio Disciples

Calvin Harris has dropped a new song. The Scottish DJ and producer has been teasing his fans about new music for weeks and it’s finally here. Calvin has released his new single “How Deep Is Your Love,” featuring the musical trio, Disciples on Friday, July 17.

According to the Entertainment Weekly blog, Harris is staying true to his EDM and club roots. However, a report in Mixmag calls the new song a “a chunky house roller… one that steers away from the stadium-sized EDM Harris has been making over the last few years.” It’s definitely sexy and easy on the ears. Harris’ new track features breathy vocals and a 90s club sound.

The hit maker is hoping to have another hit this summer with his new track. Harris took to Twitter to share the excitement about his new single. The 31-year-old has been teasing fans by sharing short clips of his new song on both Instagram and Twitter.

YouTube videos that leaked Harris’ new song were immediately taken down, as previously reported via BBC News. It sounds like Harris is taking a page from his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who had most of her music pulled from YouTube. Fans can only check out her music videos on her official YouTube and VEVO accounts. Sources close to Harris claim that the leaks were just short previews of the song that were looped together.

This isn’t the first time that Calvin has been hit with leaks of his new songs. An unfinished collaboration with Tinashe hit the internet before it was released. Calvin’s 2014 album, Motion, had several recording sessions that found their way onto the internet. Those songs didn’t make the final cut on his album. Calvin’s final track from Motion that was leaked, “Dollar Signs,” did feature the R&B singer Tinashe.

That’s not the only leak that Harris is going through. According to another report on Newsbeat, someone was rumored to have leaked nude photos of the Scottish hottie. The photos were uploaded to various adult entertainment websites. Like Harris, Swift was in the middle of her own nude photo scandal when hackers got into her social media accounts. The singer took to Twitter to exclaim that she doesn’t keep nude photos on her phone.

“How Deep Is Your Love” is the latest club anthem that features the electronic dance trio. According to the music media, Calvin could find himself with another dance club anthem that’s set to take over the summer airwaves. Unfortunately for Calvin, it’s a little too late for this song to become the song of the summer.

There is no word on whether or not Taylor Swift loves her boyfriend’s new song. Harris has recently expressed his love for the singer. During his recent interview with KISS FM’s U.K.’s Breakfast Show, Harris addressed his relationship with the biggest pop star in the world.

“There’s a whole bunch of times when we’ve been hanging out and nobody’s caught it. You know, it’s not like every single time we go out we get a photograph taken of us. That’s not the case. But for me, though, it could be a lot worse and I’d still be like insanely happy with her so I’m good with it.”
