WWE News: Seth Rollins Talks Match With Brock Lesnar At Battleground, Calls It The Biggest Match Of His Career

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins is set to defend his title against Brock Lesnar at this Sunday’s WWE Battleground show, and while the match itself is a huge match, not many people have been focusing on the match, as there are rumors floating around that The Undertaker may end up getting involved in Sunday’s main-event. But, either way, “The Beast” and “The Future” are going to clash this coming Sunday night.

Every time Brock Lesnar wrestles, it’s special. He’s unlike anyone else on the WWE roster. He’s a monster. He’s a killer. He truly is “The Beast.” Most people are expecting the Lesnar vs. Rollins match at Battleground to be great, as both men are incredible workers, and while the match may not be the biggest of Brock Lesnar’s career, Seth Rollins is saying that it could be the biggest match of his own career.

Technically, Rollins has participated in the WrestleMania main-event, even though he was only in it for a few minutes after he cashed-in his Money in the Bank contract and became the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. But, regardless of how long he was in the main-event, he still was in it, and he’s just a few years into his WWE main-roster career, and most guys go through their entire career without ever having a chance at competing in the main-event at the world’s biggest wrestling show.

As a moment, Rollins’ Money in the Bank cash-in was the biggest of his career, and, one of the most memorable moments in WrestleMania history. But, if he’s thinking about one match that will be the biggest of his career up to this point, it’s this Sunday’s match, and he explained why during his appearance on the PodNasty Wrestling Podcast.

“I feel like I’ve had a lot of ‘biggest matches of my career’ up until this point. I would say this one is certainly special. I mean, there’s not a lot of guys who get the opportunity to go one-on-one with Brock Lesnar at this point in his career, so to be one of those guys to main event a pay-per-view with Brock Lesnar over a very prestigious title it all adds up to being certainly one of if not — I’ll leave that up to you and the other media pundits to decide what is the biggest match of my career — but it certainly ranks up there with the very, very biggest of my career.”

It’s likely that Rollins and Lesnar will lock-horns again at some point after this Sunday’s show, and the rematch could come as soon as next month’s SummerSlam show, which will certainly be a bigger match than the one that’s taking place on Sunday night.
