‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Week 3 HOHs Revealed In ‘BB17’ House, New Twist Arrives

Big Brother 17 spoilers from Thursday (July 9) reveal the two Week 3 HOHs. The new BB17 power team takes over following a very interesting eviction ceremony. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Da’Vonne Rogers has the “Last Laugh” power, meaning she could eliminate the votes of three houseguests. Being on the block next to Meg Maley, Da’Vonne planned to target three people she felt were in her alliance. A report from fan site Big Brother Network confirms that the people she used her power on were Becky Burgess, Jeff Welden, and Jackie Ibarra.

It almost seemed like producers set up the voting order to make it more dramatic for the home audience. The first four voters split between two votes for Da’Vonne and two votes for Meg. The two houseguests voting for Da’Vonne were Clay Honeycutt and John McGuire, while it was Jason Roy and Audrey Middleton that voted to evict Meg. That was where host Julie Chen left it for a commercial break so that it appeared producers didn’t know who was about to be evicted from the Big Brother house.

In the least surprising Big Brother 17 spoilers of the season, all the rest of the votes went to Da’Vonne. In turn, Austin Matelson, Liz/Julia Nolan, Vanessa Rousso, James Huling, and Steve Moses all voted to evict her. The final vote of 7-2 makes Da’Vonne Rogers the second houseguest evicted from the BB17 house. Outgoing Head of Household Shelli Poole succeeded in getting her target out of the house, but in doing so, could have possibly turned herself into a target for Week 3.

In the Week 3 HOH competition, the houseguests each had to launch a ball into giant solo cups in the backyard. Hosted by New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, it was a play for the NFL on CBS this fall. The two highest scoring houseguests would become the new HOHs for the week. In a game based more on chance than any real skill, it was Austin Matelson and Vanessa Rousso who emerged as the winners. They are both in the same alliance in the house, giving them a lot of power heading into the Week 3 nominations. Their nominations should come out Friday (July 10).

The next episode of the show will air on Sunday (July 12), but there are going to be a lot of Big Brother 17 spoilers coming out before them. That will include who won the Week 3 Battle of the Block, who the sole HOH of the BB17 house nominated for eviction, and also who wins the next Veto competition.
