Barbara Virginia Hudson: Wealthy Park Avenue Socialite Hosted Prostitute Orgies, Court Case Says

They say the rich live differently than the rest of us, and Barbara Virginia Hudson may be a prime example of that, if the allegations against her in a current New York court case are accurate. But what is really bizarre about this case that has exposed the wealthy New York socialite’s dirtiest personal secrets is that Hudson is not the one facing charges. She’s the one who is pressing charges — against her former maid.

The whole sordid affair began, according to reporting by the New York Post, when Hudson accused her cleaning lady, Johanna Pimental, of swiping $62,000 from her, in the form of signed, blank checks that Hudson, who is divorced from a rich Texas rancher, had left to be filled out by her personal assistant.

Whether Pimental committed the crime or not has yet to be determined in court, but one thing is certain. The former maid is not taking the accusation from her high-society ex-boss lying down.

She not only fought back by accusing Hudson of living in squalor despite her wealth, with trash and empty booze bottles strewn on the floor of her Park Avenue penthouse — but Pimental collected sworn affidavits from other former Hudson employees and associates alleging that the divorcee, who turned her lifelong “hobby” of interior decorating into her own business, lived a lifestyle of debauchery and degradation worthy of the last days of the Roman Empire.

Through her attorney, the Italian-born Hudson who is reportedly traveling abroad, denied the allegations and called them “absurd.”

But Pimental has collected numerous sworn affidavits alleging, for example, that Hudson often hired prostitutes to take part in cocaine-and-alcohol fueled three-way and four-way group sex orgies with her, and her jet-setting Italian boyfriend, “Fernando.”

“During these quite frequent occasions, I observed Ms. Hudson in near stupor conditions, clearly from use of alcohol or some drug substance,” stated a former doorman at 521 Park Avenue, the exclusive building at Park Ave and 60th Street in Manhattan where Hudson owned five condominium apartments, and where the condos go for upwards of $5 million each.

The building’s super said that neighbors would often complain about Hudson’s activities, but because she owned more property than anyone else in the building, it was impossible to take action against the rich socialite.

The affidavits also allege that Hudson would often “crash” heavily after her drug-and-booze binges, retreating Howard Hughes-style into her penthouse bedroom with her dog, becoming so depressed that both she and the dog would defecate on her bed and simply leave the waste there, according to the reports.

The super said of Hudson that he is “frankly amazed that she is still living.”

Even if the allegations against Hudson are true, they are not as shocking as the charges against another wealthy socialite, Dallas housewife Erika Susan Perdue, who pleaded guilty last year to downloading and trading in child pornography.

An architect who formerly worked for Barbara Virginia Hudson also filed an affidavit, and the wealthy woman now faces a witness tampering charge because she allegedly threatened him with “ruin” to his business and his marriage if he took Pimental’s side in the case.
