Bill Murray To Make His First Appearance At Comic Con
It’s hard to imagine that Bill Murray has never been to Comic Con, but the actor has never made an appearance at the convention that now goes out of their way to celebrate all hopeful blockbuster films. That said, this year, Murray is set to make his first appearance at Comic Con.
According to E!, the reason why Bill Murray is going to make his first appearance at the convention is to promote his new flick, Rock The Kasbah.
Rock the Kasbah’s plot is as follows.
“A down-on-his-luck music manager discovers a teenage girl with an extraordinary voice while on a music tour in Afghanistan and takes her to Kabul to compete on the popular television show, Afghan Star.”
Although Murray is going to Comic Con to promote the film, it’s unknown whether his co-stars, Bruce Willis, Kate Hudson, or Zooey Deschanel, will be in attendance.
E! reports that there’s not too many details about Bill Murray’s Comic Con appearance, but we do know he will show up today at 10:30 a.m. for the film’s presentation in Hall H. We’re not sure if he’s going to participate in a Q&A, but we hope so, as Bill Murray is often very candid with his answers to all sorts of questions.
As the Inquisitr reported, Murray has one of the best Reddit AMAs because of the stories he told.
For instance, when asked about the best sandwich he’s ever had, he responded with this.
“You know, there’s a place not far from Warner Brothers, I think it was called the Godfather? And they made all kinds of sandwiches with smashed avocado and sprouts and stuff like that. And they really tasted good. And when you were having a bad day, I remember a particularly rough movie, you’d get sandwiches from this place. And they were very filling and very tasty, and then you’d forget about the morning.”
Hopefully, he brings this much insight to a possible Q&A.
After Murray’s appearance, the cast of Hunger Games: Mockingjay will make an appearance at Comic Con. Cast members Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth, and Josh Hutcherson are all scheduled to attend their panel.
As for Bill Murray, his fans seem pretty excited that he’s going to Comic Con.
