Joe Bailey Reacts To Kaitlyn Bristowe ‘Bachelorette’ Elimination

Joe Bailey admits that he didn’t handle getting rejected by Kaitlyn Bristowe very well. As Monday night’s episode of The Bachelorette aired, Joe gave some insights as to what he was thinking and feeling while filming the show.

On the latest episode, Joe went on a group date with Shawn Booth and Nick Viall. The three men and Kaitlyn, still in Ireland, went to Killarney National Park. Joe sarcastically tweeted that he was excited to go on yet another group date and that he must hold the record for number of group dates received.

While in the park, Joe did have some alone time with Kaitlyn. Unfortunately for Joe, the talk didn’t end well. Kaitlyn asked him if he’s ready for marriage. He responded with a kiss and told her that he loves her.

“I could totally kiss you and only you for the next 60 years. Because I’m in love with you, babe.”

Joe Bailey’s love confession immediately prompted Kaitlyn Bristowe to put the brakes on the relationship. Joe, not even able to look at Kaitlyn, seemed to brush off the rejection.

“And I respect that. It’s cool. No worries man.”

After reluctantly giving Kaitlyn a hug, Joe turned angry.

“So what do I do now? What should I do? You tell me…not saying s**to you…I’m done with you, don’t talk to me.”

Joe addressed the awkward and angry goodbye that he had with Kaitlyn. Joe admitted that he was so overwhelmed that he didn’t know what to do or say.

Kaitlyn doesn’t seem to have any hard feelings towards Joe for how it ended with him. She tweeted his “no worries man” line.

She then acknowledged that the hug was awkward.

She also implied that Joe will be seen on Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise.

Yet according to People, the last contestant from Kaitlyn’s season to join the spin-off is not Joe but Jared Haibon, who was also sent home on Monday night’s The Bachelorette episode.

Season 2 of the spin-off premieres on Sunday, August 2. It will star several women from Chris Soules’ season of The Bachelor: Carly Waddell, Jillian Anderson, Ashley Salter, Jade Roper, Ashley Iaconetti, and Juelia Kinney. They will be joined by previous Bachelor season stars Tenley Molzahn and Clare Crawley. As for the men, they include several cast members from Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season besides Jared Haibo: Jonathan Holloway, JJ Lane and Tanner Tolbert. Mikey Tenerelli, Kirk Dewindt, Dan Cox from previous Bachelorette seasons round out the cast.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Season 2 of Bachelor in Paradise may also feature guest appearances from Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul, who got engaged on the first season. They reportedly got married and filmed the ceremony for the show.
