Bar Refaeli Gets ‘Uncomfortable’ Patdown By TSA Agent

bar refaeli

The TSA is back in the news this week for all the wrong reasons. Two fliers stripped down naked in protest of the Transportation Security Administration last week, and now celebrities like Jennifer Hudson and swimsuit model Bar Refaeli are reporting “uncomfortable” incidents with TSA agents.

Refaeli tweeted yesterday:

“I got a security ‘patdown’ by a woman at the airport that made me feel very uncomfortable and left no doubt about her sexual preferences.”

Refaeli sent the message to her 172,000 followers who quickly shared similar experiences.

Unfortunately for the swimsuit model, her uncomfortable encounter with the TSA wasn’t the only thing that went wrong on the trip. The airline also lost her bags.

Refaeli tweeted:

“2nd time in 2 weeks my bags don’t arrive at the airport. God better b planning something pretty major for me soon!!”

Refaeli isn’t the only celebrity who has had a bad experience with the TSA. Last year, Cheryl Burke from “Dancing With The Stars” tweeted “I think I might have just gotten fingered by a tsa agent” shortly after walking through airport security.

Jersey Shore‘s Jenni Farley said that she was “treated like a criminal” by the TSA. Wil Wheaton nearly gave up flying after his last encounter with the TSA. Wheaton tweeted: “I got groped so aggressively by TSA at LAX just now, I never want to fly again. Not even my doctor touches my junk that much. F**k you, TSA.”

Jennifer Hudson also experienced a TSA patdown recently. Hudson didn’t comment on the experience but E! Online was able to snap a few pictures of the visibly disgusted singer.

There's got to be a better way to do this. Unfortunately, I have such a low opinion of the mental capacity of most of our government officials, I doubt they'll ever find one.

Who the hell is Bar Rafaeli? Can't blame the TSA for strip searching her though lol.

They will also be the first to bitch and complain if one of their loved ones is hurt by a terrorist on a flight. Just shut up!

Maybe now the sheeple would look more into this, and call for it to stop.., now that their favorite celebs are voicing against it.

It could be a bit of the "don't you know who I am?" syndrome but, on the other hand, TSA agents are known to go too far now and then.

I wish I was better looking. I never get a hand job when I go through security.

The short story satire U.S. Marshal Lewis Levi: Protecting the Transit on Amazon says it all about TSA and how out-of-control it could get if it continues to grow and expand. Funny story yet a real eye-opener.

Wow, seriously, Ask every person who has a microscopic link to South Asia, The Middle East, Or N. Africa, and this has been going on for over a decade. A few spoiled celebs get the same treatment and we should change it? Wow, that's just a funny situation. Suck it up, Its not the end of the world.

I think they need to do another major investigation and retraining of TSA employees. I think they found last time that many of them had not been investigated prior to their hiring nearly as closely as many of them seem to want to investigate the privates of American citizens.

As a former TSA Baggage Agent at the beginning, I can safely say that any chance to exercise our common sense is slapped down. I actually caught a Colombian national attempting to smuggle a broken down fully auto M-4 rifle with sniper accessories. When I notified the "supervisor" and the cops and showed them the broken down weapon and ammo that I had laid out for them, the question to me was by both, " what is it?". After I explained it and FBI was notified I was reassigned to watch a closed terminal for 2 months and told it was to let me "decompress". They put Mcdonald's team leaders into spots of supervision over people with military and security/Law Enforcement backgrounds, and the kids laugh about it and will tell you outright how they lied about having supervisors experience. I am proud of what I did there but I am also glad I got out when I did. The Israeli's have it right.

Now the celebs know what its like to be a mere commoner! They can all go to hell!

I'm going to get me a job at the TSA and feel some T and A.

Tough luck, celebrities! This is the Obama administration so many of you voted for and helped bring to power. Under his watch your fourth amendment rights are toast. Is it making you think twice about your politics?

Look at what she's wearing in the picture, there is obviously nothing under that tank top but a support garment. There's no reason for anyone to touch her above the waist. Personally I refuse to fly under the current TSA rules.

Flying out of JFK to LAX, I had an unopened carton of marlboro reds in my luggage. When I got home, it was opened and 4 packs were missing.

Hey Bar, welcome to the real world. So sorry to inconvenience you by not letting you get your usual diva exemption. We ALL have to put up with that crap, so either fly private or quit your b*tching. Get used to it and get over it and yourself. We ALL hate the TSA patdowns. Just be grateful that once it's over you can go back to your elite fairy tale world while the rest of us still have to live in the dreary real world where no one kisses our butts 24/7. Besides, I don't hear Brooklyn Decker complaining…

It's amazing how celebrities are always having problems. I flew 40,000 miles last year, followed the rules, and did not have anything worse than an extended check of my carry on. I understand people don't like these rules and yes some agents over due it. That said, its a small price to pay for being safe. Follow the rules and 98% of the time you'll walk thorugh security and move on.

First of all..Bar needs to shut up. Everytime I go through Ben Gurion Airport (Israel), which happens to be what US TSA are trying to emulate, I always feel like I might be a terrorist and don't know it. They way they treat you, the million and one questions, the "special room" where they run their hands through your hair, check the perimeter of your underwear, ask you to drop your pants or skirt, check the chest perimeter of your bra….one time they even confiscated my shoes and told me that I could not wear it on the plane but instead could carry it in my checked luggage. Needless to say luckily I had another pair available. But yeah…if you look slightly out of place or having the misfortune of catching anyones attention, they will give you the "special" treatment. Trust me American TSA has noting on Ben Gurion Airport! She probably never had to go through that because 1. she's Israeli, 2 she's a famous model and 3 she's jewish! If you happen to "look different" as I do (even though I'm Jewish), Ben Gurion is definitely a place that puts the TSA's to shame in terms of uneccessary "handling".

No serious terrorist would be caught by these TSA tactics that so many of us find reprehensible. So what are we really accomplishing? Google Michael Chertoff and Rapiscan to find the real story and yes it's about money and cronies…duh!

How much do you tip the TSO to get a BJ when they grope your junk?

Blaming TSA on Obama? Certainly you realize TSA was a Dubya creation…right?

  28. Tammy Kreiss

I don't know where you got that from, as nobody at TSA that I know over 9 yrs ever wanted to work at a DMV! Lousy job! TSA is Homeland Security and awesome benefits was the only good thing about TSA. We all signed up thinking we were protecting our country and serving the USA without going to another country!

Joke Lark Quoting from your Wikipedia link: "On May 26, 2011, President Barack Obama signed a four-year extension of three key provisions in the USA PATRIOT Act:". This President is as responsible as Congress for this national nightmare. In addition, funding for TSA employment and expansion into non-airport related locations has blossomed needlessly under Obama. It's time his people were held accountable.

James Watson Mr Watson (sure hope you didn't name yourself after the esteemed scientist) if you read Joke Lark's reference to the (Un)Patriot(ic) Act, you might have noticed President Obama continued a 4 year extension of ONLY 3 key provisions — NONE of which targeted TSA.

If you're concerned about the removal of our 4th Amendment rights, please focus your attention where it belongs and that is with Dubya & Friends.

Next time I'm about to be groped by TSA, I'm going to tell them, "I'm wearing Depends briefs and just soiled myself – proceed."

  32. Tammy Kreiss

Darrell M Beard ???? Medical, dental and retirement! Get your mind out of the gutter! Not everything is about sex and perverts!!! Do you take a job as a cop because you can feel people up? TSA is only around 10 yrs!!!!

  33. Charles McManus

TSA is just one of the means being used to get us used to being searched and questioned by the authorities any time any place they feel like it.
