Gretchen Rossi Talks Future Wedding, ‘RHOC’ Heather Dubrow To Get Invite

When Gretchen Rossi marries her long-time love Slade Smiley, the audience may include some of her former The Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars. In an interview with OK! Magazine posted on Thursday, Gretchen, who starred on the show for five seasons — from Seasons 4 through 8 — revealed who she’ll be sending invites out to for her upcoming wedding.

Not only does Gretchen plan on inviting some of the Orange County housewives, she’s also planning on inviting the franchise’s stars from the other cities.

“Lydia [McLaughlin], Terry and Heather [Dubrow], Jeana [Keough], Lauri [Peterson] and Peggy [Tanous], and lot of the other housewives in other franchises would probably be invited.”

Notably, Gretchen didn’t include Tamra Judge and Alexis Bellino in her invite list. Gretchen was once friends with Tamra and Alexis. By the end of her last season on the show, however, Gretchen’s friendships with Tamra and Alexis were broken. Things got particularly nasty between Gretchen and Tamra.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Gretchen recently questioned Tamra’s renewed Christian faith. The Season 10 promo shows Tamra getting baptized. The latest episode showed Tamra talking about finding her faith again after going through a tough time last year with her child custody battle with her ex-husband, Simon Barney. Yet Gretchen isn’t buying it. When asked if she’ll be watching Season 10, Gretchen questioned the authenticity of Tamra’s storyline.

“I don’t know yet. I think it will be interesting to see some of the things that they’re previewing like Tamra Barney [Judge] supposedly being baptized and a born again Christian. I find that very odd and very ironic but I am also a believer of God and I’m a Christian and if that’s true then more power to her but I would be very surprised if it’s an authentic story.”

Gretchen also had some criticism for some of the current cast members who say that Season 10 is the realest one yet.

“You know what, it’s funny that they are now claiming that this season is real because my whole thing is, are they saying that all the other seasons weren’t real? Because the truth is that I would probably say there’s a lot of girls out there that make up storylines every season and I happen to not be one of those people… So if they want to say that it’s real and honest this season, good for them but I would highly doubt it.”

Some viewers have questioned whether Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley got engaged at the end of Season 8 in order to secure their future on The Real Housewives of Orange County. They point out that now that they’re no longer on the show, there has been no real move to get married. Yet, according to Gretchen, she and Slade are definitely getting married. She told OK! that they actually set a wedding date of May 23 but then canceled that after they realized that many of the invitees couldn’t attend. She added that their busy work schedule means that they haven’t set up another date yet but insists that they’ll “eventually get married.”
