Taylor Swift, Calvin Harris Beat Out Beyoncé, Jay Z As Highest Paid Couple

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris aren’t just set on becoming pop music’s new power couple. They’re set on becoming the highest paid couple. That is, if they stay together.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris are beating out Beyoncé and Jay Z as the highest paid couple of 2015. According to Forbes Celebrity 100, which is set to go live on Monday, June 29, Swift and Harris make an estimated $146 million. Talk about relationship goals.

Although Taylor and Calvin have only been dating for a few months, the couple is quickly climbing up the ranks with their combined income and power status. The “Bad Blood” singer already has plenty of power within the music industry. Taylor was able to make Apple revise its policy on not paying its musicians during its three-month trial period. As for Calvin, he’s landed in the top 20 list of Forbes’ Celebrity 100. Not to mention, he keeps cranking out hits thanks to his hot collaborations with some of pop music’s biggest acts.

Swift and Harris have more in common than staying at the top of the music charts. Both artists have their own endorsement deals. Swift has deals with Diet Coke, Keds, and Sony, while Harris has deals with Giorgio Armani and Sol Republic headphones, according to the report. As Harris and Swift’s careers continue to grow, their wallets will grow as well. If they stay together, the two could stay at the top of this list for a very long time.

Beyoncé and Jay Z come in at second place, with $115 million. The married couple is still pop music’s power couple to both the media and their fans. Thanks to their A-list status, their booty-popping music, and their dedicated fandom, Beyoncé and Jay Z can rule the world and do no wrong. The couple, who just celebrated their seventh wedding anniversary, got together for their On the Run Tour. It quickly became the highest grossing tour of 2014, even though Jay and Bey played at 22 venues.

It also helps that Bey-Z can sell killer music. Both artists also have their own endorsements. Jay Z has an endorsement with Arman de Briganc champagne and D’Ussé cognac. He also owns his own record label, Roc Nation. Beyoncé is doing well with her fragrance line, as well as her endorsements with H&M, Pepsi, and countless others.

Another country singer is also on the list. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton come in with a combined amount of $57 million. Shelton has won fans over on The Voice, while Lambert has quickly become the industry’s new country queen.
