‘Billboard’ Announces Their Best Songs Of 2015: Justin Bieber, Kanye West, And Rihanna Make List

The year is only halfway over, but that hasn’t stopped Billboard from naming their ten best songs of the year so far. Billboard didn’t rank the songs in any order, but the list includes some longtime favorite artists such as Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Diplo.

“Where Are Ü Now,” by Skrillex & Diplo featuring Justin Bieber, is a huge hit in the clubs, on the streets, and on the charts. Billboard recognizes the brilliance of this track.

“This is the Justin Bieber we’ve been waiting for: emotive, vulnerable and smart enough to join forces with two of electronic music’s most reliable maestros. The combination of Bieber’s moving falsetto and Skrillex and Diplo’s tangled knot of beats makes ‘Where Are Ü Now’ a deserved (and much-needed) triumph.”

Besides Justin Bieber, two other chart veterans make Billboard‘s list: Kanye West and Rihanna. Though both of these artists are facing a bad year in terms of musical success, their duet with Paul McCartney, “FourFiveSeconds,” was a big hit.

“To tide us over [to their upcoming albums], however, the pair of music superstars linked up with a legend and recorded a durable, folked-up soul sing-along. Ye and Rih always zag when we expect them to zig, and we’re forever grateful for it.”

Billboard doesn’t just recognize mainstream artists. They also named “Ship To Wreck” by Florence + The Machine as one of the best songs of 2015.

“Florence Welch may have reached a new peak with third album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful — she’s certainly never been more effective as a live performer, and ‘Ship To Wreck’ demonstrates that she’s still growing as a pop songwriter.”

Out of all the people on the Billboard list, Justin Bieber is definitely the one who is making the biggest comeback. Justin made a lot of mistakes over the past few years and, according to Gossip Cop, says he’ll never apologize for being human.

“People wanted me to apologize, which I don’t know if it’s really fair. I’ll definitely take responsibility… as I’m growing but I’ll never apologize for being human and making mistakes.”

While the world patiently awaits his new album, Bieber and his fans can take solace in the fact that he has returned to Billboard‘s Artist 100 chart last week and will probably stay for a long time. Taylor Swift has topped that chart forever, but once Bieber releases the first track from his new album, Swift could be in trouble.
