Morgan Freeman and Wife Divorcing After Like, Ever

In Hollywood? 24 years? Even though being together for what we consider a lifetime in Tinsel Town Years, Morgan Freeman and wife Myrna Colley-Lee are splitting up:
Mississippi-based attorney Bill Luckett tells Access Hollywood the couple “are involved in a divorce action.” Luckett adds that “for legal and practical purposes, [Freeman and Colley-Lee] have been separated since December of 2007.”
Morgan Freeman’s having an awfully rocky year, since the news of his divorce happens to be riding on the coattails of his bad, bad accident.

Man, what is wrong with this picture. Morgan Freeman is a very successful actor, yet according to a recent news article, he is driving a 1997 Nissan Maxima? According to the popular car buying site Edmunds.com, a 1997 Nissan Maxima can be purchased in his hometown in Mississippi for somewhere between $3,500 & $6,500 USD.
His wife must have “taken him to the cleaners.”
