‘RHOC’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Thinks The Beadors Will Divorce, Brooks Ayers’ Cancer Diagnosis In Question

The newest drama to hit Real Housewives of Orange County centers on Vicki Gunvalson and her boyfriend, Brooks Ayers. In particular, there are a number of the Season 10 cast members who are having a difficult time believing that Gunvalson’s boyfriend has cancer. In fact, Tamra Judge, Meghan King Edmonds, and a few of the husbands on the show are dismissive of the idea that Ayers is currently undergoing treatment for Stage 3 lymphoma.

The controversy began after Tamra accused Vicki of not reaching out to her upon learning of Ayers’ diagnosis. Gunvalson said the following, according to Reality Tea.

“I did speak with Tamra after Brooks’ diagnosis. She initially found out from an interview Brooks and I did after he was re-diagnosed with his cancer in October 2014… Tamra and I ended up talking on the phone after that was online, and I told her I was sad and scared and was apprehensive on filming Season 10 with Brooks being sick. I told her I didn’t want to be Gretchen and was reflecting back when she was filming with her fiancé Jeff who ended up dying while she was on RHOC.”

Meanwhile, the drama ramped up during the latest episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County, which featured Tamra and Vicki making amends following Eddie’s remarks that Ayer’s round of chemo treatment was “bulls**t.” Despite the ill feelings and lack of communication between the two, the pair ended the episode holding hands and apparently making up.

At the same time, one person that clearly isn’t thrilled about the two making up is Shannon Beador. Despite her friend’s feelings, Vicki isn’t ready to let Shannon come in between her reconciliation with Tamra. In fact, Vicki recently revealed that she wasn’t too excited about the way Shannon and David handled their own marriage counseling.

“Watching David and Shannon’s eulogy as if they died was very creepy to me… I didn’t like it at all. I think because my mother’s passing is still fresh in my mind, watching them lay as if they were dead was not appropriate at all.”

Vicki added that the likelihood the couple would remain together following the affair was slim. “The truth of the matter is, the odds are not in their favor. When one of the partners are unfaithful, it’s very difficult to overcome. It’s going to take a lot of work, but I feel they have what it takes to beat those odds.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Mondays on Bravo.
