Ben Zorn And Shawn Booth Most Mentioned As Next ‘Bachelor’ Star At Casting Call

Casting for the next season of The Bachelor is already in process, and if the hopeful contestants in Seattle have their way, they’ll be competing for Ben Zorn or Shawn Booth. On Thursday, show alum Molly Mesnick tweeted that she was at a casting call in her city. She revealed that when she asked the women who they want to see as the next man to hand out the red roses, every woman replied that they want Ben or Shawn.

“Interviewing girls at #Bachelor casting in Seattle. EVERY girl wants Ben Z or Shawn 4 next Bachelor @fleissmeister.”

Molly made sure to direct her tweet to Mike Fleiss, the show’s creator and producer. Prior to the airing of Monday night’s episode, Mike asked viewers to nominate their pick for the next star.

Ben and Shawn can currently be seen on The Bachelorette going after Kaitlyn Bristowe. On Monday night’s episode, Shawn enjoyed a one-on-one date with Kaitlyn in San Antonio, Texas. Shawn, who actually received the first impression rose early on in the season, shared with Kaitlyn a traumatic event from his past. In her latest People blog post, Kaitlyn made clear that she appreciated Shawn opening himself up to her and that there was major chemistry with him.

“Hearing Shawn talk about his accident made me want to just throw my arms around him, cry and tell him how happy I was that he was there in that moment with me. Watching him let his guard down was the reason I couldn’t hold back, and I had to tell him I was falling, too. There was a natural chemistry between us, and it was unlike anything I had felt before. And if that couldn’t have felt more romantic, we then hopped into a canoe and rowed out to the middle of a pond. I couldn’t wait to surprise Shawn with fireworks. It was the perfect way to end it. I will never forget that night.”

When the season started, Shawn Booth posted a screenshot of him putting in his vote for Kaitlyn as the Bachelorette.

In a previous episode, Kaitlyn had a one-on-one date with Ben in Los Angeles. The two went into a haunted house, during which Ben comforted and took charge of a very scared Kaitlyn. He then talked to Kaitlyn about his mom, who passed away when he was young. Kaitlyn in her blog described him as “sincere and genuine.”

“A big guy with a big heart, he was so comforting, and I just hid behind him the whole time. I felt protected, and I thought we worked well together as a team! That’s such an important thing to have in a relationship. Once we did manage to escape, it was so nice to just hang out with him back at my place. One of the qualities I love most about Ben is he is such an easy person to talk to. He’s also not afraid to open up. Ben shared stories with me about his mom, which I truly appreciated. I had no idea he had been through so much. He’s a sincere and genuine guy who is truly looking for someone to share his life with. It was a no-brainer giving him a rose, and it left me excited about the connection we shared.”

On Monday, Ben Zorn posted a photo of himself in New York City while filming the show.

Of course, for Shawn Booth or Ben Zorn to be the next star of The Bachelor, that means that they aren’t in a relationship with Kaitlyn Bristowe or someone else when filming for the next season starts. Even if they are single, fan favorites Shawn and Ben have some competition when it comes to being the franchise’s next star. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, many viewers have made clear that they want to see Josh Murray, Andi Dorfman’s ex-fiance, as the next star.
