The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice may not be hitting the red carpet anytime soon, but that hasn’t stopped her from keeping up her looks. According to a new report, the reality star and mother of four is doing what she can to stay looking her best while serving her 15-month prison term.
On June 18, a source revealed the following to Radar Online in regard to the Real Housewives star’s latest activity.
“Teresa has been laying out by the track area of the prison after finishing her work duty in the kitchen. Typically each day, Teresa gets about one hour at the end of the day, with more time on the weekend to lay out. She is being very careful to not be photographed by any lurking photographers.”
The Real Housewives star began serving her term in January, just three months after both she, and husband Joe, received time behind bars for their crimes of bank and wire fraud. Prior to their sentencing hearing, the Real Housewives couple, who’ve starred on the New Jersey-based series since season one, plead guilty to several charges.
“Teresa thinks her tan, and the fact she is getting in shape, is causing more attention from the other inmates. Whether or not it’s true, who knows, as Teresa always thinks she is the center of the universe.”
At this point, Giudice has reportedly reached the half-way point in her sentence, and is excited about her upcoming release, which is expected to take place in December.
“Teresa is counting down to being released. She wants to look hot when she gets out!”
Following the Real Housewives star’s release, husband Joe will begin serving a 41-month term. In the meantime, however, as the Inquisitr reported earlier this week, the troubled reality star will begin shooting a series of his own, which will follow him and his daughters as they prepare for their mother to come home. Although the Real Housewives spinoff has yet to be confirmed by Bravo, or any other network, a source recently told Real Mr. Housewife it was happening.
“Joe has signed a deal for a show. It will be very short and only a few episodes. Think of it as a check in to see how he is handling the girls a single parent.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey has been airing on Bravo since May, 2009.
