Bobbi Kristina Brown Update: Leolah Brown Slams Pat Houston And Dispels Rumors

While Bobbi Kristina Brown fights for her life in an Atlanta area medical center, her aunt Leolah Brown has a fight of her own ensuing. Yesterday, Leolah took to Facebook in an attempt to dispel rumors and place some pretty harsh accusations on a member of the Houston family.

People reports that Leolah Brown is adamant that Bobbi Kristina will not be going home to die, despite the many unsubstantiated rumors and speculations that continue to surface. On a Tuesday Facebook post, she made it clear that her niece will not be taken anywhere to “leave” the family.

“The BIG lie has been told again that my niece Bobbi Kristina is going to be brought home… only to leave us. (I heard it on the radio about 6am this morning while I was traveling). Please ignore any of these LIES coming from the media.”

Additionally, Leolah pointed out that Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt and co-guardian over her medical care, allegedly wanted to take the 22-year-old off of life support because it was getting too expensive.

“So-called Pat Houston, Real name: “Marion Patricia Watson Garland”, wanted so badly and had the nerve to sarcastically say to my brother Bobby, “why don’t he just pull the plug on Bobbi Kriss, because it’s costing too much money to keep her alive!” YES, Pat Garland did have that nerve to say that to Bobbi Kristina’s father Bobby.”

According to Leolah, her brother Bobby Brown, 46, Bobbi Kristina’s father, indicated that he would never “pull the plug” on his child, regardless of medical expenses. Reportedly, Bobby Brown stated,

“I don’t give a damn how much money it takes to keep my daughter alive! It’s not about the money! I will do what I have to to keep my daughter alive!”

The differences of opinion between the Browns and Houston has been building for quite some time now. While Cissy Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, indicated in a May interview that her granddaughter was not improving, the Brown family, including Bobby, stated otherwise. During a Dallas concert earlier this year, Bobby told a cheering crowd that his daughter was awake and watching him.

It seemed, at least on surface, that the Brown and Houston were trying to work together despite their different views on the situation. Earlier this year, representatives for the family stated that both sides were coming together for the benefit of Bobbi Kristina. Yet, Leolah Brown’s Facebook statement reflects the opposite.

“If Pat knew The God that I know, instead of trying to inherit my niece’s money for her personal gain, she would mind her own business and go find A JOB for herself without continuously working so hard to destroy my niece, beg her for money and get angry when she cannot get it!”

Pat Houston hasn’t yet commented on Leolah Brown’s accusations. In the meantime, Bobbi Kristina Brown remains at the Dekalb County Medical hospital. There’s no indication of any change in her medical condition and no confirmation that she’ll return back to her townhome.
