New Best Friends: Adorable Video Shows A Dog Playing Tag With A Wild Deer [Video]

An adorable video shows a dog and deer playing what appears to be a game of tag in a man’s front yard. He captured the exchange on video, and says that the pair continued to play together for about 45 minutes.

In the video, which YouTube user Geoff Box uploaded, you can see a black dog and a wild deer running across the grass in front of a house. The dog and deer seem to be enjoying their time together, and the dog can be seen wagging his tail throughout the game. Box says that his dog, Brutus, was outside when the deer approached. The pair began chasing one another, and that the chasing continued for nearly 45 minutes.

Sadly for Brutus, it seems that the deer definitely won this game. The dog did more running away from the deer than the deer did running away from the dog. However, Brutus didn’t seem to mind as he frolicked around the yard with his tail wagging. The deer would chase the dog and stop for an epic stare-down before taking off after the dog again.

Not all deer have time to stop and play with dogs, though. Check out the video of this poor deer who gets lost in a suburban maze of backyards. The poor deer keeps jumping fences only to end up in a different backyard each time. Eventually, someone had to open a gate for the poor creature.
