‘Big Bang Theory’ Star Kaley Cuoco Plays London Tourist With Husband Ryan Sweeting

Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was in London this week to gather some hardware at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. After picking up the prize for Comedy Actress, Cuoco and her husband, Ryan Sweeting, took some time out to enjoy the sights.

As the Daily Mail reported, Kaley fawned over Ryan during her acceptance speech at the Glamour awards before thanking her fans for support.

“Thank you to my husband for being my date. You’re so cute, so so cute. I hope I continue to be funny and make you guys laugh.”

Glamour magazine called Kaley’s win a “well-earned triumph” and noted her “elegant” floor-length black dress, which featured a sequined cut-out on the back.

Kaley’s stylish pink locks were also on display as she and Ryan posed for the cameras on the red carpet. Cuoco experimented with the color of her hair after telling People she plans to grow it out in the next little while.

Kaley spoke with the Mail Online and expressed her affection for London and delight at spending time with her husband.

“We love coming to London. It’s such a great city. I’m here for a few days with my man which is great.”

Kaley and Ryan were happy to play tourists in the city, posing on Instagram in a shop that sells all sorts of London-themed goods. Kaley captioned the photo, “We totally fit in here! #londontourists”

The Daily Mail also caught Kaley and Ryan taking a turn on the London Eye, which provides extraordinary views of the city. The paper noted that the couple had a pod all to themselves and did not have to share space with other tourists. They had waited in line for their turn along with other patrons.

She also opened up on the initial trepidation she had at taking on a new hair shade.

“I was scared to do it, but glad I did!”

There may be more Glamour awards in Kaley’s future as she has at least two more seasons as Penny on The Big Bang Theory. Her co-star Jim Parsons is spending his summer playing God in the Broadway play, An Act of God, which has received highly positive reviews.

The Big Bang Theory will return with new episodes in the fall.
