Katy Perry Gets The Monday Blues, Posts Strange Photo On Instagram
Katy Perry shared an interesting photo of herself on Instagram. It appears that the “Dark Horse” singer had the Monday Blues. Katy took a break from her Prismatic World Tour to indulge in some much-needed Me time.
Perry, 30, shared a selfie of herself in a facial bandage. The singer looked like a mummy in her new photo as previously noted via the Daily Mail. The white gauze revealed her eyes, nose, and mouth.
Perry included the following caption: “Monday’s got me like. :-/.”
The singer is taking another brief break from her Prismatic World Tour. It looks like Katy needed some rest and relaxation as she laid her head on a bed of fluffy white towels. Some fans remarked on how tired and unhappy Katy looks in her strange new selfie. There were also some Katy Cats were worried about the singer. They thought she was involved in a serious accident or that she went under the knife to get some plastic surgery.

“OMG Mondays suck!”
“Wish I’d spent my Monday at a spa.”
It’s a departure from seeing the singer in her most colorful and glamorous state.
Katy Perry is not only on a world tour. She’s also currently filming her documentary, Katy Perry: The Prismatic World Tour. Perry is very busy with both her documentary and her world tour. Even her Twitter account says, “CURRENTLY. BEAMING ON THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR 2014/2015.”
Could it be that Katy’s world tour is getting in the way of her personal life? Her on-again, off-again relationship with John Mayer could be off again, according to the report. Katy and John are currently on a break after they were photographed at Disneyland over the Memorial Day Weekend.
Just last month, RadarOnline reported that Perry and Mayer split for what seems like the fourth or fifth time. The couple just got back together two months ago, prior to their last split. It sounds like Perry and Mayer are confusing everyone with their yo-yo relationship. An alleged source told the celebrity gossip site that the real reason behind their constant splits is because of Perry’s hectic schedule.
“The reason they have split in the past is because Katy gets busy. John can’t handle the lack of attention, and she can’t handle the trust issues she has when she’s so far away.”
That makes sense since Mayer is a known womanizer. Perry likes to be the one and only woman in her guy’s lives, no matter who’s she dating. Mayer and Perry have been dating on and off since 2012.
Now it looks like Katy has the blues because she’s no longer with John. Katy is also too busy to work on her new album, despite what recent reports have to say. In fact, it was Katy’s manager who previously announced that she’s going to release a new album by 2016. That also made rumors swirl that Katy is planning to write a diss track about Taylor Swift.
Songwriter Bonnie McKee recently told DuJour that Katy hasn’t even stepped into the recording studio yet. By looking at Katy Perry’s recent photo, it’s obvious that she’s too busy with her tour to do anything.
