Becca Tilley Defends Chris Soules From Fame Wh**e Accusations After Whitney Bischoff Breakup

Chris Soules didn’t choose Becca Tilley on the season finale of The Bachelor but people won’t find her bashing him, even after it has come out that his relationship with the woman he chose over her, Whitney Bischoff, has ended. Instead of talking ill of Chris, Becca’s actually defending him.

On Friday, days after Chris and Whitney released a joint statement to the media announcing that their engagement was off, Becca posted a tweet in which she poked fun at people telling her to go after Chris now that he’s single. Apparently, some of the show’s viewers have inundated Becca with messages telling her that now is her chance.

Becca made clear that she won’t be chasing after Chris.

“Yall are funny- “get back together with that guy who didnt choose you in the first place!”

In response to Becca’s tweet, some people, referencing Chris’ run on Dancing with the Stars right after proposing to Whitney, wrote that he turned out to be a fame wh**e. One person asked why everyone was saying that Chris was a fame wh**e when he’s back in Iowa on his farm now. That person also pointed out that Sean Lowe, the Bachelor two seasons prior to Chris, also did Dancing with the Stars right after proposing to his final pick, Catherine Giudici. Sean and Catherine married in front of ABC’s cameras in January 2014 and are still married.

Becca Tilley agreed with the person who said that Chris Soules going on the dance competition immediately after proposing to Whitney Bischoff doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s fame hungry. Becca wrote that anyone would have taken the opportunities that Chris was offered and they’re lying if they say that they wouldn’t have.

On Thursday, Chris and Whitney announced their split to Us Weekly. News of the split came shortly after Chris maintained that he and Whitney were in love and that everything was well.

“Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement. They part with nothing but respect and admiration for one another and will continue to be supportive friends. They wish to thank everyone who has supported them through this journey.”

The next day, both Chris and Whitney released their own statements. Chris admitted that the breakup has been “really tough.”

Whitney, meanwhile, thanked everyone for their love, kindness, and support.

Whitney may now be leaning on Becca as she deals with the aftermath of the breakup. Two days prior to the breakup announcement, Becca posted a photo of herself and Kaitlyn Bristowe having a video chat with Whitney. Becca declared that being friends with Kaitlyn, who competed with Becca and Whitney for Chris and is the current star of The Bachelorette, and Whitney is “SO much fun.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Chris Soules commented on the fact that Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley were able to continue their friendship despite how The Bachelor ended. Chris said that he was “so glad” of Whitney and Becca’s friendship.
