‘The Bachelorette’ Spoilers Week 3: Kaitlyn Cancels Rose Ceremony, Heads To NYC

Week 3 of Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season of The Bachelorette airs June 1, and things are getting competitive between the 16 remaining guys. So far, this season has been different than previous seasons of ABC’s popular reality show, and viewers can expect big changes right up to the final rose ceremony.

Kaitlyn and her guys remain in Los Angeles for the third week, where most of them will go either on one of two group dates, or the only one-on-one date of the week. Just like on the Bachelorette Week 2, three guys will not get a date and will have to hang out at the Bachelor mansion until the rose ceremony.

However, their waiting will be in vain, with Reality Steve stating that there won’t be a rose ceremony on Monday night, June 1. Does that mean Kaitlyn will keep everyone around for another week? Here’s the scoop.

During the sumo wrestling group date, “healer” Tony Harris decides he doesn’t want to participate and excuses himself from the date. The 35-year-old from St. Louis, Missouri, apparently enjoys talking to his plants more than sumo wrestling with his cast mates, JJ, Shawn B., Chris, Clint, and Joe.

However, blogger Reality Steve states that although Tony leaves during the wrestling date, he returns later in the date to tell Kaitlyn he is leaving the show. Tony reportedly decides he’s not a good fit for the show, but there is speculation that he may have injured his knee during a session with the sumo wrestlers.

“He showed back up later on after the sumo wrestling and told Kaitlyn that he was leaving. It’s unknown if he actually injured himself during the morning session with the sumo wrestlers and that’s how he tore his ACL. But hey, since he’s a healer for a living, lets see if he can miraculously heal his own knee by meditating or talking to his plants.”

Harris the healer’s departure isn’t the only reason Kaitlyn decides to cancel the Week 3 rose ceremony. Contestant Clint Arlis, who went on the first one-on-one date of the season on Week 2 (May 25), makes a fool of himself at the cocktail party, and Kaitlyn sends him packing.

“At the cocktail party, Clint started acting like a horses ass and was becoming too cocky for everyone there, and Kaitlyn sends him home.”

Because Tony left during the group date and Clint was sent home for being full of himself, there is no reason for Kaitlyn to hold a rose ceremony. Instead, she prepares for the next stop on her journey — New York City — where things will really start heating up when Kaitlyn finds out former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman’ss ex Nick Viall will be joining the cast.
